Hey!

I'm trying to play RO like old times but can't change the resolution, it happen when I open Setup or Classic_Setup like administrator or normal




I tried editing OptionInfo.lua but doesn't work



My specs are the following:

Athlon II X4 640 3.0 Ghz
4 Gb Ram
Ati HD 6770
Windows 8 64-bits

Try different compatibility options until you find one that can see available resolutions. Also setup must always run as admin. Also make sure that you have DirectX and working graphics drivers installed.

I tried it already but nothing happen, I think I will reinstall the game

Hey, don't re-install it will be a waste of your time. I had to spend HOURS trying to fix this on Nuala's new PC that came with Windows 8.


Okay, here is what I did. Go the the RO program folder > Find the Setup Icon that you would run and is messed up in your SS there, Cut that file and move it to your desktop. (This may be random and unrelated, but is exactly what I did *run the Classic Setup and select the resolution you want and save*) - Now, go to the desktop and open set-up *Hopefully now you have the resolution options and you can set it and save it. This will create the RO Saved folder on your desktop, cut this from the desktop and move it back to the RO folder and overwrite the existing.


Let me know how it goes! This was such a hassle! XD
