Based on the success of the Christmas loading screen and other events we have done with the RO art community, I am putting out some additional requests!
Right now, classic server is using a lot of Recycled art assets including it's task bar icon, login screen and we would like to ask the community to submit some artwork that will reflect the updates we have (and will be adding in soon).
I request that these be new arts, be submitted by the artist/creator and posted in this thread in jpg form. If selected, I will contact you with a request for higher resolution image.
The first image request:
-Login screen background with art of abyss lake. Size: 1024x768
It will be replacing this:
Whether it be a lush landscape showing the beauty of Abyss Lake or an image of adventurers venturing through the dangers of the dungeon below, we'd like to see an artist's take on this new map we've introduced on Classic!
If it would be possible to complete this artwork before the end of the month, we'd like to get the first one chosen and implemented with the January 29th or February 5th with the reward distributed not long after that. This art would also be used for the update page for that respective classic update.
The next updates for Classic that we will need login artwork for:
-Lighthalzen
-Homunculus
-Kiehl Hyrie
In addition, we also are looking for submissions for our Classic exe icon. This is the image that shows up on your taskbar or in your start menu. Right now, both Renewal and Classic have the same icon, and we'd like to update that. The image must be easy to read from a distance and give a good representation of the Classic RO. The size will be around 32x32 and if selected would need to be in a .psd format so we can convert it.
Another project we'd like to do eventually is to update the patcher image. We still haven't been able to get the RO client layout changed, but we should be able to update the image at the top.
