i downloaded the game from the main site, install it and an error pop up, saying the cabinet file media1.cab is corrupted.
please help me, i really want to play RO

Your downloaded file got corrupted during the process. You may want to use the suggestion above, download it again, or use a download manager software such as Flashget, Godzilla, or even Google Chrome to download the gigantic 1GB file.

Have you tested that those download managers work to successfully download RO?Your downloaded file got corrupted during the process. You may want to use the suggestion above, download it again, or use a download manager software such as Flashget, Godzilla, or even Google Chrome to download the gigantic 1GB file.
Most people report that download managers do not work with the official site, and they are explicitly prohibited by iW, and my experience has been that download managers are more likely to cause file corruption than prevent it.

Chrome works well for me. There were times that it did not. All I had to do was re-download it which I had mentioned in my post above.

Right, I know Chrome works.Chrome works well for me. There were times that it did not. All I had to do was re-download it which I had mentioned in my post above.
But you're also recommending several third party download managers - have you confirmed that these download managers work for downloading RO? Last I heard, download managers did not work with the official download (generally only getting the first few kb), and are prohibited (under threat of IP ban) from use on iW due to the load they put on servers.

That's nice if we have a DLM - now if it actually creates working files, that'll be even better.
