Not sure whats going on but at first I had some problems getting the patches to work at all, then my character wouldn't move (not sure how I get that to work, he is moving now) and now I can't connect to the server, at first I would at least get to the server selection screen, but now the moment I hit enter after attempting to sign in, it said failed to connect to server. I haven't seed any other topic on this subject, so please, whats going on???

Hopefully they are fixing the character creation.

lol same here, I had the issue of character creation "name already exists", so after reinstalling ro with the new patch I was hoping to finally be able to create my second character, but now connection seems impossible. I can only hope its temporary, tho my hopes are not very high as of now

The servers are currently down for an emergency maintenance to fix the character creation problem that users have been encountering since some time late on saturday.

If you already had one character that was working, this is the problem you were encountering that was preventing you from making a second one.
