Happenes all the time, then after trying like 7348805398409538 times it connects somehow...Anyone know how to fix this problem? Or do i need a new Client?

Comcast's DNS servers suck. They for some reason fail to resolve some warpportal related domain names intermittently (including the patch server). They also go down entirely for a few hours at a time every month or so (ever get that thing where you stay connected to instant messengers and online games that you're already connected to, but going to most websites fails?)


Switch to using google's public DNS servers to address both the issues patching RO, and the general suckiness of comcast's DNS servers.

ive played dozens of games and ragnarok is the only one i've ever encountered with this issue i've played it since it released with on and off years... 2 on 8+ off and just restarted 3months ago from what i've read (my major right now is informational technology) its on RO's side i've never had DHCP/DNS problems with comcast for anything but this game leading to only 1 thing.. RO's fault. Oh and ive played a few months here and there in the 8 off but yeah never had this issue in the past. Another thing you could try that NO one ever thinks about is calling your provider tell them your issue and request a static IP address instead of using DHCP... IF it happens to be comcasts issue that should help resolve it dont trust a public DNS its not secure at all your opening yourself up to have your machine raped.
