when i log in game my server select buttons are NO MSG and when i log into game all my items are NO MSG. I just downloaded a fresh copy into the pre set directory and everything is 100% patched. Whats going on?

Can you take a screenshot of this error message and post it here? What is your operating system?

Windows 7 the stuff in my storage is fine but the items in my inventory and all my buttons are not english

Looks like you are somehow using a kRO client to connect...please uninstall/delete the RO client and download a fresh version from our site or iROwiki.

I just want to add to this topic after a long hiatus and i just came back that i just did a fresh install and I still am having the exact same issues.

This is after a FRESH install. I'm sorry but if I do a fresh full install of a game into the intended directory I expect it to work...

Are you sure it's freshly installed folder?

There shouldn't be korean language there. Also the screenshot ends with .co.kr

 

Did you mix it with pserver folder?

Adding on Kebtung post, make sure you are using the setup from the official webpage, if not please download the file from the following link:

Make absolutely certain that the folder you are installing RO into is completely empty, you have clearly got some mixed up installs going on with that screenshot.

No I did not mix it with a private server. I installed this into the recommended directory and there was no "Gravity" folder before my install so obviously it was completely empty. That is why I'm so confused on why this is doing this to me. I'm doing a 100% fresh install into the intended directory and this is how it comes out. Also that link in the thread is the one I used.

Another piece of information that might help - I did a fresh download on my step brothers computer and everything worked perfectly. So I took that file and put it on an external hard drive. I opened the game STILL ON THE EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE and it popped up as the kRO again. So the EXACT SAME FILE works on his computer but not mine. Why is this?

Do you have other RO server files installed and where are you getting the installation setup from?

Yeah i do have other ro server files installed. And i'm downloading it directly from the warp portal website.

You might want to remove the other RO files, could also try to install into a different directory or drive.

Well I only have a C drive but i tried running it off of my external and it didnt work. So im going to run through my add or remove programs and remove EVERYTHING RO related lol. and then ill see what happens with that. also i installed it on the desktop as well but that didnt change anything.

Resolved. I had a gravity folder in my programs x86 file that was screwing it up. deleted it now were good. thanks everyone for the quick responses it helped me out big time!
