I was making this sort of build, right up until I came to the Oboro job change tests.

I quit the game because of the atrocious design that annoyed me to no end.

Unfortunate.

Kunai(throwing)is much better especially in high levels because it scales with ur job lvl, much better damage and aoe skills. Magic seems decent if you are dealing damage to a single target and when fighting against some low tiered MvPs the down side is it has no great aoe and you are restricted in only 3 elements.

What do you mean by gold aura? If you're saying that they have aura like other 3rd class when they reach 175, then it is a yes.

Hi guys, im currently a lvl80 magic ninja. Im just wondering how do you guys deal with shadow element mob like shinobi that has 50% reduction to fire, water and wind? Do we generally avoid these mobs or just keep spamming spells to kill them? This week's lower ti killing shinobi seems to be a problem for me killing them. Lol.

Perhaps a bit of hybrid could solve this problem? Kunai/huuma + magic? What do u guys think?

For ninja, there's nothing much to do. IF you wanna try something different would be to freeze them with snowflake draft and finish hopefully in 1 lightning jolt. Altho running and leaving blaze shields in the way might be a much more efficient way to kill them.

When you get to K/O, you can get rid of fixed cast, so all you gotta do is spam ftw.

Monsters that take 50% elemental damage are still ok. Try one that takes 25% and has enormous mdef -.-

then again it all comes down to your gears... even with 100% cast reduction magic ninja might not be able to out-dps a kunai build with the same amount of investment, imo

Thanks for the reply guys! haha.. this week or two's shinobi + elder TI gonna be a nightmare for me. I'll probably grind normal mob till lvl 100. I'm a lvl85 and still die every few secs doing lower TI atm. lol.

Ninja magic is weird.

 

So I made a kage like 2 months ago but deleted it because I was using throwing build, and it sucked (had already used reset.) 

 

So I made another one 3 days ago and got it to kage using magic -- and it is very fun, but I noticed some things.

 

Fire Charms are bugged and do not buff exploding dragon anywhere near 15% per charm (more like 5% per charm).

 

Also, exploding dragon can hit one enemy multiple times if they are moving through the AOE while it goes off. 

 

Also also, I have a question -- which skill is better to have: Snow Flake Draft or First Wind?

Fire charm is adding the bonus at the end instead of multiplying. Instead of 900% * (100+150)%, its just 900%+150%.

Snowflake Draft is almosr useless for damage, so is for freeze( put a charm ice on the ground is much better for that)
First Wind is also not being increased correctly by the charms, and it kinda sucks anyways :v

Ohhhh that makes sense. 

 

So some spells multiply and others add the charm matk% bonus? Is it just the exploding dragon and first wind that have janky charm bonuses? 

 

So with that knowledge, I guess I can skip on those two spells (and probably all water magic really) and focus on other skills. Thanks mang.

its bugged and isnt worth it anyways. (all "3rd tier" skills are bugged on the Charm damage increase)

by the way, if i can reach 100% cast reduction with gear does that means i can leave dex at 1?

If you reach 100% cast reduction, I guess you shouldn't need more than 1 point of dex. Maybe increasing your aspd might be worth it so your animation time decreases and you can cast things more often. At least this is what they do in BRO.

Didn't see that mob scarf before, is it new? So from what I saw the bonus with 120 int and dex is 360matk and -9% cast time?
