I`m running ro on vista as admistration. I get an error after I run the installers that is a stick figure running with arrows pointing at him and the numbers 1,2 with asian writing on it. It will not let me install ro. help!

Can you please take a screenshot of this error and upload it to photobucket or something so we can see it? I've never heard of this issue.
Also - are you using the official client, either downloaded from the warpportal website or the irowiki mirror ( http://irowiki.org/w...nts_and_Patches )?
You are trying to connect to the official iRO server right? (We do not support other national RO's here, nor illegal private servers)

This means that, for some reason, the updater can't read its skin from the PatchClient subfolder. (You can achieve the same result by renaming or moving the folder.)
I think you've manually installed the Classic client to the wrong folder and then tried to open it. All you need to do to play on the Classic server is install the client using a recent version of the installer (the large .msi file) and then open the "Ragnarok Classic" shortcut from the start menu (with administrative privileges).
