You can't send mail anymore since last patch. And it's permanent.

You can still pick up mail (for the next three weeks) at any mailbox in town, but you must send mail from the Postal Annex.

Yes, after that we must remove them from towns so all mailing will have to happen from the Annex.

The loss of a proper mailing system with mail-zeny-from-everywhere magic and all is a heaping helping of BS served on a slice of fail and smothered in lamesauce. I'm not enjoying it.

It's already driving me insane. "Oh I set up vend without emptying the zeny... I'll just mail the zeny to my main... Oh, I can't mail... " so I need to take down the vend, and the vend on my main, and move my main and alt to same place, deal the zeny, move the char back, and set up two vends. 10 minutes spent, with two chances for missing zeros. Instead of 15 seconds.

Is there any way to get to the postal annex without going to a WoE realm? If not, can there be? Maybe the mailboxes could warp there?

Yes, instead of removing mailbox NPCs, change them to warp to postal annex. There could be a portal at the bottom to warp you back to the mailbox you used to warp in (Eden-style).
