Tip: If you are a GM, add a way to ignore a stupid new system before implementing it.

This will just add to the nonsense that is player broadcasts, which are already irritating as is. We do not need this, spend your time working on something more important.

is there a place where we can ask for help like a thread cause I just started playing RO1 and I don't know what to do. someone told me to goto the eden group girl and transport to the base but when I did all I saw was a bunch of people selling stuff and I couldn't even click anywhere to move. so like anyplaces for quests or whatever btw im base level 10 and job level 1

Only if you're VIP! If not, she just warps you to Prontera (for 1.8k, I think).

To clarify:

 

If you are VIP then Aperture will warp you to several towns, including Prontera

 

If non VIP, Aperture will warp you to Prontera only..(and yes) for 1 800z

Tip: A Magical Stone can give a one time per character 300% boost to exp for half an hour.

Renewal:

I think, instead of giving lots of tips, telling them about the basic websites they can visit for more info (forums, iROwiki, Ragial, etc) would be more useful and tidy than annoying the older players with constant chats. 

However, certain really basic tips should be given. Newbies MUST know about Eden (and its importance) as soon as they start. Someone already mentioned telling them about the free gear, the board missions and TIs. I think that's enough.

I would add the warning not to buy zeny, and these days especially, instructions on how to recognize a real GM. (Today I found one, but was so traumatized by the horde of fake GMs we've been having lately, that I was skeptical that this one was the real deal). 

I've seen in other topics how some players say it's "obvious" when a GM is fake and when he's real. Well, maybe it's "obvious" to seasoned players, but I'm sure it's not to newbies. (I have been playing for like 2 years, but today, ignorance on this topic has led me to being paranoid) =P

When someone annoy you by spamming whispering.

 

Type this command in typing bar on the bottom of the screen (Hit one Enter to let it show)

"/ex [character name]" to ban someone to whisper to you

"/in [character name]" to allow the banned to be able to whisper to you again.

 

You can list all command include above by typing command "/h"

Question on a tip. The 300% boosted exp you can get with a magic stone can you use it to boost the exp received from a TI when gramps rewards you?
So
TI reward from gramps with BM x3 plus 300% more exp??
