I resently accidently deleted ragnarok so i tried redownloading it, but when i go to the download page and click it, it says page cannot be displayed....

If i could get some help it would be nice

umm Azzy i downloaded the mirror and patched all files, but when i open as admin a bunch of errors would come up.

for example it says attempt to index global cmd on off and could not load nospam.dll then cannot find file: sprite/shadow.act then the error handle.

the error handle says before i can even log in.

You need to patch the main client before trying to patch the test server client, even if you want to play on the test server.

Be sure to run the game as admin if you're on Windows Vista/7/8

No. DrAzzy just meant that you need to update the client's common resources by opening the Renewal updater (shortcut name: Ragnarok; file name: Ragnarok.exe) before you can use the Sakray client.

i see alright thanks for all the help it works now i just have one issue with the game.

the game works fine its just the mouse exclusive on the setup does not work im thinking its because of the mirror?

The version of the installer hosted on the mirror is identical to the official version, so using the mirror can't be the cause of the problem.

Have you tried running the Setup application with administrative privileges? To do so, right-click the application's shortcut, choose "run as administrator", and then answer the User Account Control dialogue window that is opened affirmatively. If that doesn't work, then try the following:

• Close any open instances of the RO client.
• Open Notepad (with administrative privileges).
• Open the file Client folder\savedata\OptionInfo.lua (where "client folder" is the path to your client folder).
• Change the line "OptionInfoList["MouseExclusive"] = 1" to "OptionInfoList["MouseExclusive"] = 0".
• Press control-S to save your changes.

I changed it to "OptionInfoList ["Mouse Exclusive"] = 0" but it didnt work i think the problem might be that i can't find the open as admin button.

Oh and when i went back to the setup the mouse exclusive was off ...

Please upload your copy of OptionInfo.lua to a file sharing service such as Ge.tt, and then include the address of the uploaded copy in a reply to this thread.

eh so do I run as admin the game or the optioninfo cause i cant find run as admin on the optioninfo.lua only the patch of the game

Always open the RO client and its configurator (the application named "Setup") with administrative privileges.

You've correctly modified OptionInfo.lua. I'm afraid I don't know why the "mouse exclusive" option is still enabled for you.

lol i didnt need to modify the optioninfo >_< i only needed the mouse thing fixed >_<.... well this stinks

The point of modifying OptionInfo was to try to get Mouse Exclusive turned off. They are not different objectives.

I don't know if the old RO Mouse Freedom still works, or whether it's being bundled into RO now, or whether they're doing it in a more direct way now. Send me a PM later tonight so I'll see it when i'm at home, and I'll check how mouse exclusive/freedom is handled with the latest client, and hence whether the old mouse freedom could still be used.
