I'm not trying to start anything or provoke anything in that matter nor is it ever going to happen its just I really enjoyed this game when it had a healthy playerbase when it was owned by thqice, now this game turned into a wasteland when i came back a few months ago (again quit after a few days of playing) maybe its best to move this game to a more active publisher with more supporters seeing how other dragonica regions have shut down
Another publisher?

It's not the publisher that's the problem, it's the developer, Gravity Games. If you were around toward the end of the THQ*ICE era, you'd remember that the server was pretty dead back then, too. The developer has ignored player suggestions and requests for too long and all of the servers have suffered because of it (with many closing down, as you mentioned). Fortunately, lately there have been changes made that seem to suggest the developers are willing to start listening to players and delivering updated content and balance fixes, so hopefully things will continue to improve.

Im pretty sure the developers are the same one as THQ had(barunson), because for the longest time the loading screen would say Gravity games/barunson in small print. Most people forget barunson was bought out from THQ which means there's probably a good chance the old dev team is around.

Yeah, I think it's something like that. I think the current NA publisher is a subsidiary or a branch company of the developers or something like that. Essentially, the developers still hold all control over the game. The thing is, when a foreign company decides to localize a game, the publishing license should, in theory, give the publisher a reasonable amount of access, if not full access, to the game's source code. That is how publishers can add unique content to the game that is solely their own. However, since the local programmers for the NA version of Dragonica are most likely just programmers for the other WP games spending a few minutes a week on this game, all we get are translated (and untranslated) versions of the original game.
