How do you program Macros in this game, if you look; they have hotkey shortcuts for Macros hotkeys, but how do you actually write them yourself or put them in the game? I want an equip macro, Damage, and Tank macro equip

This cannot be done.

What the client calls "macros" are just chat or /commands bound to alt+number key, not something that any normal person would call a macro.

I saw a youtube, best assasin cross in the world video, and that person had a macro to change all of their equip from tank to damage.

Inappropriate Action

The following actions are not allowed in-game or on the WarpPortal forums:

14. UNACCEPTABLE CONDUCT

Subject to the Terms of Agreements herein, User may not engage in any conduct or communication while using the Services which is unlawful or which restricts or inhibits any other User from using or enjoying the Services. Gravity reserves the right to terminate the User's usership if it determines, in its sole discretion, which the User has engaged in unacceptable conduct. YOU MAY NOT USE THE SERVICES TO:

A) Use of illegal automated programs, Scripts, and Computers. The use of any illegal automated program (Ex. 3 rd party bot) or system, devices, computers, or scripts on RAGNAROK Online is strictly prohibited and may result in criminal liability under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Section 1030 of the United States Code. Violators will be prosecuted to the full extent of applicable law and may also liable for the punitive damage. Gravity may terminate and permanently disqualify any users who, in its sole discretion, determines as being in violation of these Terms of Service. All decisions made by Gravity are final.

It's possible that Gravity would be willing to make exceptions for certain specific uses of macros, as they did with RCX, but that's a separate issue and something that only Gravity can comment on.

Keyboard macros are fine they can't prove them if you have a G15 or something or a simple program that just hotkeys multiple button presses in order to a key

macro is not actually directly doing things to RO like mentioned 3rd parties such as botting program. By using a macro (such as autohotkey) , it affect all program that use keyboard as its main input such as microsoft word as long as the script is active ?

The GMs have stated a few times that the test for macroing is that you must be able to respond, and it must not do anything that the client would normally not let you do.

So that implies that macros that swap gear (provided they do so by simulating keypresses, not reaching into the client to do it more directly) would be in the clear.

Keyboard macro simulates you pressing keys on your keyboard. So keypresses get sent to whatever application has focus.
