Okay, then if that is true, not saying it isn't, how do you explain Eremes Guile being alive?
the Bio-Lab was full of clones of him o.o whos to say one or two isn't still kicking around?

It miight be my memory failing me, but I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in one of the quests later on (or a khara?) that he was found in suspended animation somewhere deep in the ruins of Lighthalzen. After being brought back to existence, he set out to find his 'comrades'... aaand that's how he became entwined in the plot of RO2. ;P
Sooooo...what happened to "Izrud" then. How/why did it devolve from the quaint little town it was in RO1. Generally cities grow, not shrink...unless RO2 takes place in the middle of an economic crisis *cough*.

Ooor with them. ;P ouch.If they do add his comrades, imagine the epicness of fighting alongside them.
Hmm... I don't think Geffen was mentioned in any of the quests in-game. Maybe it was destroyed during Freyja's coming?Okay, that cleared up all but one thing, what about geffen? In the Q&A Heim, or whoever was speaking said, that geffin wasn't around at that time in history.

The old Izlude is underwater. Izlude and Izrud are effectively two different towns.
....So, whats your explanation for "Contratruations!"?

RO2 in a nutshell:To me it makes more sense that RO2 is not derived from RO's storyline. The events of RO2 match pretty well with after Ragnarok the Manwha. Or if it is derived from Ragnarok Online, than Ragnarok Online took place a long time before Ragnarok the manwha and Ragnarok Online 2.
CopyPasta cool chars/monster/names onto generic factory bought mmorpg environment and make money with it.

Izrud is Izlude, it's just a bad translation.

It's not a proper translation at all.Izrud is Izlude, it's just a bad translation.
It's more a
"Hey guys, let's take SeaRO2's client and correct their engrish grammar, because we're too lazy to translate the game ourselves!
Noone needs monsters(Tarou, etc...) and towns to have their correct names, that's so overrated anyway, so we'll leave it to the players to find out which names are wrong and ticket it in!
YOLO, coffee break!"
kind of thing.
