Since a few days ago I've been visiting that wiki, and I've been learning a whole lot from there. Thank you very much for working on it ^^

Maybe I'll contribute some time, though I'm awfully behind as well when it comes to RO1 lore. When my summer vacation starts I might try and screenshot as many quests as I can, then compile information into something more reader-friendly. All I'll need is some info on quests that are missing/incomplete.

Yeah, those look like the walls of the old Morroc. We're getting new Morroc in RO2 so we'll have to wait and see what it looks like when we get that update.

Yeah, those look like the walls of the old Morroc. We're getting new Morroc in RO2 so we'll have to wait and see what it looks like when we get that update.

Maybe that loading screen with the traveler on a red tortoise is a hint.

I'll add some more to the pages for Aione, Hans, Balain, Kleindiana, and Ivia once I note down what happens after the events in Bouquet Village (I just got my archer to the village recently). I would add more pics to the pages for when you meet them in Maple Forest but I have my graphic settings on low so they would look kinda fuzzy if I used my screenshots :/

Lore Update to let you all know

 

RO2 Lore Update:

 

Morocc's Structure was fully rebuilt including the castle (Palace) However, there's a few strange buildings around morocc that are very interesting (I checked myself C:)

I am surprised to read some of the lore about the game o_o

 

I mean... i played all those quests about Rekenber and Biolabs and all those things, but it always felt a little bit... disconnected, you know? like, this thing im doing is its own bubble of story, and maybe it wont have further consecuences beyond the dungeon or the area, but i was wrong, and im happy to see the story evolved into something

 

While playing RO2, i have started to wonder what happened to the other side of Midgard. Where are Geffen and Aldebaran? Did they get destroyed? Are they mentioned in other  class quests i havent played yet (like wizards making comments about Geffen?)... 

 

And that Wiki. Ill be glad to help whenever I have internet but cant play. For now i have to hurry up to lvl 50!

And last, great job with the info, and thanks

While playing RO2, i have started to wonder what happened to the other side of Midgard. Where are Geffen and Aldebaran? Did they get destroyed? Are they mentioned in other  class quests i havent played yet (like wizards making comments about Geffen?)...

Geffen will be in a future update so we'll have to wait and see what became of it. Haven't heard anything about Al de Baran making a comeback.

Yep, RO1 ended with the Day of Despair which was pretty much our final stand against Freyja and her Valkyries. With her defeat came Ragnarök, which marked the end of the Age of Gods (After War era) and the beginning of the Age of Man (Neu Era). RO2's story begins 300 years after RO1's story in a time where the heroes of RO1 are regarded as the stuff of legends. In RO1, we deal with the interference of the gods and demons in Midgard. In RO2, the gods are now doing their own thing and there is some problems with demons, but overall it's very much focused on Norman affairs.

If you've seen Sword Art Online, think of it as RO1 being the 1st season while RO2 is the second season. Connected stories, but RO2's is very blah in comparison with RO1's more exciting plots.

i just started reading the manhwah and i find the wiki pages interesting ^^ gj on the contributes zero

 

btw someone edit ro2's version of fortress of sanderman into its wiki page.. unless theyre not related, dont really know the lore behind it, last episode i played was noghaltz

Sanderman Fortress is known as Sandaruman Fortress/Fort Saint Darmain in RO (I put a little note in there about iRO localization). zr0rieu (who knows Korean) confirmed this for me.

Yeah, the Assassins Guild is the only guild with a detailed history in the entire Ragnarok compilation. I'd love to hear more about the other guilds, but that is up to Lee Myung-Jin and Gravity to give us more info.
