I can't log on at all i click the start game button and i get 2 errors?

accname.lua:960: table index is nil <<after i click ok button i get the one below

AccnName_F.lua:15: attempt to index global `AccNameTable' (a nil value) <<after i click the ok button it just keeps going back to that one forcing me to use task manager to end ragexe.exe??

What is going on? Why am i getting this error? What can i do to fix it, so i can log on and play?

ps this is really confusing I can log on to classic(which i don't play on) and i'm lost, why can i log on there and not the main server?? It's sakray and the main server giving them errors

Wow I thought I was the only one who got that error.
I JUST installed win 8 enterprise (upgraded) a few minutes ago and I thought that was the problem..apparently not exactly on my side

I can log on to the classic server with no problem, it's chaos and sakray that's giving them errors, all i want to do is set up shop and go to sleep lol.

Same here, only classic works.
Found an old thread regarding to this issue:

However I couldn't find accname.lua or the other file in my computer at all. I'm missing out on something x.x

Ok well i figured out how to fix the problem
1st Look for the ragnarok folder on your c drive
2nd right click the folder and choose previous versions
3rd click last week folder 5-17-13 and open it
4th look for the data.grf file and place it on your desktop
5th make a new folder on the desktop and take the data.grf from where your ragnarok folder is on your c drive and put it in the new folder
6th take the one from last week folder that's on your desktop and put it in the ragnarok folder on your c drive
I did that and now i'm able to log on the game

Whoah how did you get that figured out?
Hmm this is bad since in Windows 7 there is a 'choose previous versions" option but not in Windows 8. But thanks for your post, I'll look into it more.

Try this out, i don't have windows 8, but i'm kinda quick with looking up information.

Sounds like you're missing patches from two weeks ago. Try repatching from that time (as administrator):

• Make sure you don't have any ragnarok clients or patch clients running.
• Download this patch.inf to your ragnarok folder, replacing the one that was already there.
• Run the patch client.

I wouldn't recommend this.
