Apparently, Classic players are under the impression that the iRO Community RaidCall is for Renewal players only. Didn't mean for that to happen.

Classic people are more than welcome to join! We won't shun you! (Only the non-believers.)

IMPORTANT NOTICE!

In the 12 years of iRO's existence, we mods of the iRO Community RaidCall understand that some people have a certain history within the playerbase. Despite that, we're more than willing to give everyone a second chance in the RaidCall regardless of what biases we may have. This includes guildleaders as well as long-time veterans of the playerbase themselves.

That said, the fight that broke out in the Lounge last night was entirely inappropriate and unnecessary. We do not condone personal attacks against others and will take action should people do so. First offenses will lead to suspensions from the iRO Community RaidCall and continuous attacks (whether in the RaidCall or not) will result in permanent bans. The iRO Forums community is bad enough as is, let's keep that kind of poor attitude out of the RaidCall.

Indeed, we would appreciate if the drama is left outside of the door. We want a positive atmosphere in the iRO Raidcall, not a negative one that will drive people away. :/

Just to add one more thought to that:

 

The decision was based on what was best for the raidcall community and keeping it a friendly environment where people can come to find parties, make friends, or get help with something related to RO (this goes especially true for newbies to the game, who may hop in trying to find help, and instead find a spam of arguments where their cries are overshadowed).

 

We have had plenty of newbies come in who have gotten help and been on their way to more prosperous guilds with their voice chats. Even if they choose not to remain in the raidcall, we'd rather them find a positive experience in the time that they are there.

 

 

 

 

With that said, we do welcome everyone into the raidcall. Even those we may personally have issues with. We just ask that you be respectful to everyone, and you'll receive the same. If you cause problems or make others feel uncomfortable (abusive/overly perverted comments, etc.), you'll be warned, and if it continues, you'll be removed.
