Need Help after login failed 2 connect 2 server

I have bought a new laptop and since then 4days ago, I havn't been able 2 log into ragnarok because after Log in, it says failed 2 connect 2 server, but I no that its not a internet connection problem because it will let me on ragnarok on another computer within the same internet, will the problem solve itself or do I need 2 keep tryin different things 2 get it working? I have tried running as admin aswell as changing the compatability with windows 7 and windows xp, (I am running windows 8) somebody please help me I have been stuck for 4 days and I don't no what more I can do 2 fix this problem,

There is probably a firewall installed on your computer that is blocking communication with the log-in server. Test whether the problem occurs while the firewall is temporarily disabled.

I have tried turning fire wall off and it still has the failed 2 connect 2 server, I am running windows 8, witch I used Norton 2 turn of firewall, and I think that has turnd them all off I don't no if I have missed something because the firewall is called smart firewall, im not very smart when it comes 2 computers, is there anything else I can try?

Hmm… okay.

Please test whether you can connect to the IRO log-in server using Telnet. If while following the instructions a dialogue window is presented that asks whether you want to allow or block Telnet from attempting to open a network connection, then take a screen capture by pressing Windows-print screen (the Windows key and the print screen key). (The screen capture will be saved to your Pictures folder.)
