Everyone is welcome to join regardless of level, class, species, etc. as long as you be a good sport and have fun!

1) Landscape&Scenery: Your sprite sitting somewhere memorable/awesome in the world of iRO with or without friends
2) Guild&Friends: You and your guild/friends posing for a big screenshot
3) Fun&Interesting: Could be MVP parties, random db summoning or some other weird or neat that happened during your travels.
4) Weird&Funny: Prize will be small for this one, but any cool glitches/problems/NPC dialogue you've found or funny things that were fixed years ago that you screenied once upon a time

I loved the landscape that you chose as well but I had to choose between the two. I love the whole Ragnarok World Turns Upside Down story as well, that's just awesome xD

Finally! A noob friendly event I can come up with!

 

The Poring Wars NPC is found here:

 

How to Join the Game:

- I will have a locked chat room with the password being hidden in this description.

- Once you enter the chat, you must not leave before getting a party invite or else someone else can take your spot

- When the chat is full, I will call out your name, and you will tell me your class and level so I can put together the teams

 

 How to Start Poring Wars:

- After the teams are made and everyone is geared up, you will see a Poring with a chat room called [Recruiting 10 Battle Participants] and you must join the chat and wait for the rest of us to join it as well

- You will then be warped into another room with 2 more NPCs, the left NPC (Poring) is the Angeling Team, and the right NPC (Marin) is the Deviling Team. You must enter the chat room of the team you were put onto

- Afterwards you will be warped into another room, and the leader of the party must talk to the Doppleganger NPC that pops up. Once the leader finished talking to the NPC, you may click on it and be warped into a room next to the Arena.

- Rules will start popping up on the top of your screen, and then a portal will appear beside you. Walk into it and the Poring Wars begin!

 

How to Play:

- You and your team must walk around and look for the enemy team's Angeling/Deviling and kill it

- You must also protect your team's Angeling/Deviling from the other team by killing them

- Whoever kills the other team's Angeling/Deviling the most will win the match

 

Note: Res both your teammates and the other teammate's priest to keep the match and competition going!

 

Rules:

- No GTB, MvP or God Items. Mini Boss carded items are an exception

- Gears must be open at all times

- No trash talking

 

Tips:

- Bring Ygg leaves to res your teammates and the enemy players

- Try to stick together!

[ Story ]
I was called to investigate something in Izlude, I didn't see anything unusual yet, but suddenly, I heard a faint voice nearby, calling my name. It was coming from the tent at the center of the town. So I decided to go investigate what was up, but then something.. or maybe someone rose from the shadows. I didn't know what it was, but then everything just went dark. By the time I woke up, I was covered in blood along with a few other people around me. We were surrounded by friends and strangers. I was told I was the only survivor in this massacre.. I don't know what happened, or who did this, but I sense something sinister was going on, and this was the start of something worse.

[ Rules ]
If you killed the MvP, you MUST have a screenshot to prove that you killed it. The screenshot must include the mvp sign popping over your head and the message in your chatbox that says you killed the mvp. This prevents any frauds.
Post your screenshot on this forum. We will also have people watching for the person who killed the MvP just to be sure!

MvP Killer's prizes will come at the end of the event! You can only get your prize if you post your screenshot or even fraps video for proof!

There's evil lurking in Geffen! I can sense it, hurry and get over there and investigate whats going on. I have a really bad feeling about this. 

If only I could join you all to see for myself, but I can hardly move, and these nurses won't let me go anywhere!

[ Round 2 ]
Good job guys, I'm glad we got that over with. I hope no one else got hurt. But I feel something else... maybe this isn't done yet. But now this evil presence is moving elsewhere.. when I think about it, I think I remember a bit about this culprit. I know for sure it was a male... that's all for now... 

Oh no! The nurse gonna give me a needle!! GUYS HELP!

[ Round 3 ]
This presence.. it keeps moving! Where is it going now? I think its heading towards the city in the sky-- Juno! Hurry! You must go there! Now I remember what class this culprit is... he a Super Novice! Keep your eyes open guys! 

My arm still hurts from that needle though...

[Round 4 ]
Wow.. it seems that the evil presence has just suddenly disappeared.. but that isn't right. It can't just suddenly fly off the face of the Earth like that. I think that evil presence might be covered by something angelic.. I think I know who the culprit is, but I don't know for sure if its true. But a chill just went down my spine. I just want this to end already. 

And I wanna get out of this bed.

I can't believe it was The Thing this whole time! How could he/she do this just for FUN? At least he was defeated, and revenge was taken for my friends and myself. Now I can rest in peace..

[ Story ]

Alaska and I were just chilling in the Prontera castle until one of the guards rushed to us with urgent news. We were quickly informed that The Thing has escaped from Baby Prison by sneaking through the toilet! Don't ask, we have no idea of how  that happened either.

Anyways, we were called to investigate the scene, and it seems what the guard said was true.. he really did escape through the toilet.
But it wasn't just that, The Thing also kidnapped some people from the local library.

 

[ Rules ]

Take a look at The Thing and observe his surroundings. He could be in any city, or in a map next to it.

Take a screenshot when you have found him, and post it onto the forums.

First 3 people who find The Thing will receive a prize at the end of the event!

 

There are 6 kidnapped victims, each one hidden in Payon town, they could be within or behind buildings.
Your task is to find all 6 of them, take a screenshot and post them all onto this forum.

First 3 people who find all 6 of the victims and/or The Thing will receive a prize! Prizes will come at the end of the event distributed by Event Stash who will be waiting in Payon.

Note: Hide your map in your screenshots this time!

We gathered some clues and evidence as to The Thing's possible whereabouts, we're gonna need you guys to help us find him and the kidnap victims as well.
But here is a photo of him that a witness managed to snag before he went into hiding.

It appears that The Thing sent us some private messages that clue in to his possible location.

[Clues]

1) "I'm hiding in an area around the place magic is learned"

2) "I see groups of people fighting in these stone structures sometimes"

 

[Round: Victim]

It appears that The Thing really did hide his victims. We managed to get some clues from witnesses who happened to see Thing hide each victim. Though it wasn't much, its better than nothing. They could be anywhere in Payon, even in the buildings!

So we managed to catch The Thing again thanks to our lovely volunteers who came to help give us a hand.
We took him back to the GH prison, this time in a cell where there is no toilet for him to escape through again. Though now we have guards to escort him to the toilet every time he needs to go. Welp, good luck to them, I hope they're getting paid enough for this. (probably not)

Hopefully this kid will learn his lesson about kidnapping other kids for world domination or whatever he's planning. If that does happen, then maybe we'll consider probation for him. Maybe.

Though we did get a recent report from our Event Agent that something has happened at Poring Island, we haven't gotten any details yet. But everything is currently being investigated as we speak.
If no results come out, we may have to get involved with this and figure out what's up.

(02/08/2013) [Event Inactive] Event @ 6pm PST/PDT

 

There will not be a prize.

 

There will be 2 rounds with 4 completely different teams. Both rounds will be 30 minutes long.

 

Alaska and I are waiting in the PvP Waiting Room.

 

I will have a LOCKED chat box up saying "Read CSI Chaos Event Forum for PW" and there will be 18 slots open for you to join. Only those who have read this forum will be able to access the chat box and join the event. You must finish reading all of this carefully in order to find the password.

Both teams will have 5 people in it.

 

My team will be called Agency (I will be playing/inviting on my AB, Mokoneii)

Enemy team is called Thugs (Party leader is my SC but I am not playing it)

 

 

Rules:

• No GTB or God Items.
• No trash talking or bashing each other. This is a friendly community event. Have your drama somewhere else.
• Use your own supplies. No one will be reimbursed after the event.
• Your gears must be open throughout the entire event or else you will be disqualified.
• Outside buffs such as Foods, Eden Buffs, FCP, Strings, etc. are allowed.
• You can only switch characters once during the round.

 

Rules on How To Join:

• My chat box is LOCKED, therefore you must read this forum in order to find the password to get into it and join the event.
• When you enter the chatroom, please say your level and job when I call your name.
• You will have 20 minutes to gear up and get your supplies together after I invite you to a party.
• If you leave the room before being invited, once someone comes in, he/she will take your spot instead!

 

I will do my best to even out the teams as much as possible. Though the Agency team will be slightly stronger.

 

If one team is overpowered, I will switch people between parties to even it out a bit.

 

I will have my shadow chaser logged into the PvP waiting room with a chat that says how much time is left, as well as the points (in ratio form) and beside it will be (A:T) meaning Agency:Thugs Example: [15 Minutes 3:6 ]

 

Each person who is killed on either team counts as 1 point for the other team. Res killing also counts as another point.

 

Round One:

This round is for third class characters only. Extended classes such as Soul Linkers and Oboros/Kagerou are an exception and are welcome.

Round Two:

This round is for non-third class characters only. Extended classes are also welcome.

Only exception is lvl 99 third classes. But you cannot use any third class skills during the event. Or else you will be disqualified.

 

This round is specifically for noobs/newer players who want to join the event, but do not have a third class to join.

 

If you already participated in Round One, you cannot participate in Round Two. We need as many slots for as many different people as possible.

 

To avoid any trolls and crossfire from other people, Round Two will be done in Poring Wars instead of the regular PvP.

nothing like making people waste time not being able to vend because their merchants were killed by player spawned monsters.... kinda defeats the point of disabling DBing and polymorphing in towns...

Events like these are very rare, 2 hours, or even a day without vending isn't going to hurt anyone. Plus its all in good fun! Everyone enjoyed it!
