So I saw one of those kafra-abusing mega-buffed players in Colo and I made it my mission to kill him as many times as possible. As a result, I got eliminated in the second round, haha. In retrospect I should've just ignored him, but man, do I find those players annoying. Good thing I had the help of like 5 other people to kill him (that's how many it took to kill him) With constant stuns, it still took us over 30-40 seconds to kill him.

This was a player with full Colo armor too.

He came into the game with full buffs (all class buffs, all kafra elixirs, run speed, food buff, and potion buff)

He died once in round 1, and this was him rebuffing up again after he revived.



He died again in round 2, and this was him rebuffing at the end of round 2, right before I got eliminated



And yes I actually saw him rebuff (I even heard the pot drinking sound).

Fix Colo system as well. Mega-buff is another story, but conceal scroll, get points only by kill stealing (people who deal 5k damage is not getting point because KS-ed by 200 damage from other), free for all so you can turn 10 vs 1.. Really in RO1 people will mock you and even bannable for doing cheap stuff like that...I know this is different game, but still Colo is just broken...

I'm not sure how you can call it an abuse. After all it is an in-game function that everyone can take advantage of, at anytime. The playing field is level, those unwilling to take every advantage are only limiting themselves. If you don't care enough to win, please don't bother complaining. No one wants to hear a losers lament.

I also love that you are calling people out and posting their in game names, but are too much of a coward to post your own information.

As long as there is no names involved in the thread it can't be calling out a person, the original poster edited his screenshot to remove names, and has ??? on the rest BUT i DON'T AGREE ON THIS POST HOWEVER IT MAKES THE PLAYER FEEL LIKE THEY'RE BEING ATTACKED AT.

Keep it up...but next time, try to find some 200% atk from those porings first.
Not to brag, but I actually managed to eliminate a high profile, mega buffed Monk, with groupies, in todays 1pm Colo. His ign was R** ;p

I apologize for not wanting to drop $3-5 every Colo "to win." It's a pretty steep price to pay for many players only for a "chance" to win. I'm not sure if that warrior did win this particular Colo., wasn't paying attention, but I'm sure he doesn't win EVERY Colo. that he commits money to "take every advantage."

And I do win Colo., just not when I'm hell-bent on making Kafra-abusers waste their money. I have over 30 Colo wins across two characters, and I started Colo a week after it's release - all without Kafra pots.

They should banned all drinking pots....such as hp pots or what so ever in colo.....just normal buff or potion buff or even food buff rather then that just take it off!! Hell just take all of it off that would be fair to all !!!

Which is very slanted to benefit DPS classes who already have a strong advantage. The ability to survive and maintain buffs are the only advantages tank classes have. Of course if rangers, priests and sorcs don't win they qq like this constantly.

God forbid they not be entirely OP.

They're different buffs. One comes from the Explorer's Elixirs (Kafra item - Explorer Pack). There are 5 elixirs in the pack, 4 buffs, and 1 speed booster. They last 20 minutes and disappears upon death. I believe you can only rebuff when you're out of combat (end of Colo or beginning of Colo).

The poring buffs (+200% attack power / +50% defense) are MUCH stronger than the Elixir buffs, but of much shorter duration.

Except for the speed booster buff, all other buffs are represented by the yellow arrows.

in the case of the screenshots, they're taken at the end of the 1st and 2nd round.

Haha, I do the same thing every time I see a cash shop or raid buffed player. I'll snag 1 or 2 kills real quick to guarantee next round and spend the rest of the round trying to focus them down with hope that others latch on to help. The idea is to make them feel like the buffs make them a target over other players. I totally enjoy the idea of community justice making this behavior more common, at least until things are disabled.
