If IM , which IM for now give good stats set.

Oh Elga, I go there once and yup that crazy I die tho~ :p_sick:
(wings to show to great for the hearts at lvl 79) sorry what is suppose to mean?

Elga weapon like zau? recipe? What is Bloody? Black Dragon Bloody Crystal? OMG :p_omg: 20k I saw on market.

Overlord is one of the classes who can reach the maximum critical rate just by agility and soulcrafts, with enough defence, which the Protector of Stars set +20 gives, you wont really die in dungeons, unless you stay in those few (2 onehit skills) from elga. if you don't want to waste gold on socket cards, you can go for 4 parts Hero Protector of Stars and 4 parts of the Elga set, you can even make it Rare if you want. This combination of the sets gives the most Critical damage for Overlord. Get as most as possible soulcrafts to Agi crit rate and Crit dmg, you can also use sockets to push it even higher (Agi sockets even give some health, so you will also grow more HP) Focus on Critical dmg first then agi/crit rate.

If you can achieve 40% final critical success rate without having to rely on IM Gear so you can focus on Movementspeed there.

Here is an overview about what i am using. This is NOT the perfect way i described you, it rather shows that i barely have focused on agility and critical rate and achieved (31.5-12.7=) 18.8% final critical success rate without any fincal critical succes, only pure agi and critical rate. Also as you can see the Hero Protector of stars set has a 4 part set effect of 123.5% critical damage. 4 parts of the elga(rare elga) set have also critical damage on it (should be around 90-100%) so if you want that easy crit dmg combo you need to take the Hero PoS wings and the elga bracelet (to get 8 parts in total cuz PoS has no brace and elga no wings)

Also you have to care a bit, the PoS set has different individual part options as the elga, PoS has attackspeed on shoes, hp recovery on gloves and movementspeed on shoulder pads. The elga part options are the same as the Secmathian just with some different numbers.

Just as general advice: if you don't see yourself getting hunreds of thoussands of gold (or spend as much time farming specific items), you can also go for 2nd grade gear so to say and just roll with that. Especially if you enchant/ buy nonsoulbounding items like normal weapons, you dont actually lose anything. We also have systems like enchant shift and soulcraft shift in the game in case you happen to get that pos hero gear and stuff. You can even be competetive with that gear, you just need to really choose if you want pve or pvp, can't have both. Crit, cdmg, ms for pve and Hlt, def and elements for pvp.

So to be more specific, you could look for items like lightning oak weapons and paris' wings instead.

Just do the Galaxy Questline starting from Monday, to collect star stones. If you have other characters above level 50 you can use them as well. Keep in mind that if you want the Critical Dmg from it for PvE Purpose you dont have to get 7 Parts +weapon, only 4 Parts. Before you actually get the PoS i recommend to aim for at least 4 parts of the elga set(lvl 75), i recommend to use the bracelet, gloves, shoes and head, also try to get them rare from time to time. Also i recommend to get Black Dragon Lord wings and upgrade them +20, to get some defence before PoS and to be able to enchant shift them (enchant shift is a procedur where you take the enchant grade from a equipmant part and put it on the other equipment(this only works for equipment from the same class and equipment type(example your weapon can only be shifted to other overlord weapons up to 10 lvl above)) If you do this procedur there is a chance that it fails by 70% which you can easily prevent by using normal IS, the leftover 30% are split up to chances that the equipment become -2 upgrades, -1 upgrade, stays the same, +1 upgrade, +2upgrades(for a +20 item it means it can end up +18,+19 or +20(+20 has the lowest chance of those 3 possibilities))), Enchant shift is way cheaper than enchanting the PoS wings to +20 as well

By 2nd grade I mean the second best or the third best options for gear pieces. It's like buying korean cars, they are a lot cheaper and will probably do the job.

So kinda like what vossel's saying: go for elga's set before pos, get some other wings, get some other weapon (lightning oak, zau, etc) and so on.

Even like secma with +20 paris wings and any highish lvl +20 weapon will make you effective in pve.

This is all solid advice, but just for the sake of any Overlords reading who are pursuing a PvP build:

I would argue that Movement Speed and Attack speed should be a big focus for any Overlord PvP build, unless you're a very casual player that doesn't plan on investing time into their actual PvP gameplay/skill/tactic. The more recently added sets and items in this game also make Movement & Attack speed builds so easily accessible that it would be foolish not to invest in them, considering how much more effective they make the Overlord class (and other classes as well). Overlooking this would leave you running a character that is built for the PvP meta of a few years back, rather than recent times. The item stats on anything released within the last year are proof that this is the current meta.

Attack Speed for PvE is really just for a small number of reasons. Either you wanna do quick X>X>Z>Z's for stunning F7 bombs or something or you wanna use the Fast X Attack option and hold X for a bit between small bursts of skills during cooldowns to give sustained DPS. However it's such a common set bonus end-game that it's not a major difficulty to invest in. Like he said, more and more options arise that you don't have to run Best Unity or Devil's of Agility for hitting 300%.

Hey Coolsam, thanks for the great guide. I want to ask you some question if I may,

1) Since I can only buy little IM point, hence I don't have many gold, can I still build my gladiator similar as your build?

which equipment should I use? Currently I'm lv 40 and still using lv 20 free equipment and as for weapon I can only enhance my aqua weapon until lv 4

2) From your point of view, is Overlord a good choice for me a newbie in this game?Or should I change to another character? My target is a character level 70+ that can do many dungeon (either solo or with many other player) with not so much IM used

Thank you once again for your great guide, I saw your vid on youtube as well and your Overlord is awesome
