It's amazing with beers. I heard there are stores selling Balut everwhere in the Philippines--similar to Starbucks in America. Must be very popular over there.

I recently tried natto, and being an odd food buff I thought I could learn to like it... Nope. Only made it through half a package and had to call it quits.Being descended from folks where eating things fresh to the point of still being alive and wriggling and natto I can't throw stones....but I'm just gonna send this to off topic.

XD Balut's delicious. i just don't like going thru all those erm... "textures". there's also this "day old chick" which i cannot bring myself to eat D: because those claws scare the f out of me"
so i end up eating Penoy instead (no chick included) just typical egg with soup of sorts inside (which is the best stuff).
i remember, Balut was one of those challenges in Fear Factor haha. xD

I remember that episode and the one where they had to eat pig parts. Such weak sauce, those contestants.

I've had dried crickets before. They tasted like dried fish. :U

Guess I had mealworms that were fried a little too much.
