It's amazing with beers. I heard there are stores selling Balut everwhere in the Philippines--similar to Starbucks in America. Must be very popular over there.

Being descended from folks where eating things fresh to the point of still being alive and wriggling and natto I can't throw stones....but I'm just gonna send this to off topic.

I recently tried natto, and being an odd food buff I thought I could learn to like it... Nope. Only made it through half a package and had to call it quits.

so i end up eating Penoy instead (no chick included) just typical egg with soup of sorts inside (which is the best stuff).
