This is a pretty big thing so I'm pretty shocked there's only one other pet thread out there! I'm still trying to wrap my head around this stuff and I'm sure others are too, so why not just make a thread where you can discuss anything about the things?
I currently only have a Rocker as I was trying for the cape but soon realized who jesus you need a lot of DNA to level up. I think the sheer amount required is way too much, even on common mobs, and it's going to be hell on field/dungeon bosses. If you needed say, 10 DNA strands to level up your summon I think that'd be much more tolerable than currently, and 6-7 each on the field/dungeon bosses. I'm fine for having something take a long time to grind out for good results, but getting 4 DNA pieces for a chance at being able to create a single DNA strand seems overboard. Perhaps up the drop rate of DNA?
I also have farmed up 5 Lurker DNAs and I'm wondering if he is worth it;. Should I try cashing in on them while the craze is hot to earn a bunch of zeny, or is he a good pet? His window text says "Debuff" without anything specific -- what exactly does he do? Another curiosity is about Marinesphere -- do they still have the crazy damage output they do in Sea God?
I think the respawn timers on field bosses may need to be lowered a bit, it's actually getting difficult to even find free channels where Lurker Fly isn't dead.
I'm also curious about what "health debuffs" are, as in the case of Strouf.
What have your experiences been so far? Have you got any pets you think are really good?
