well i am also facing the same problem now, it was just fine 10 hrs ago ,  i am able to play classic server but not the Choas , i am able to login successfully but as soon i select the Choas server , it displays Failed to connect to server.

I tried to play in my laptop too as administrator  but the results were the same , can't play Choas but i am able to play classic. any idea what might be wrong?

As for Azzy , yes i am able to open the link in chrome on both the systems.

I split this into a new topic, because your problem is completely unrelated to the problem that the other person had. They had "failed to connect to patch server" when they first started RO.

You get "failed to connect to server" after you select a server.

Checking the patch website doesn't tell us anything; we already know you can get to it, since you're able to start the client and enter your un/pass.

I'm not sure off the top of my head what my next debugging step would be. You're connecting to the login server successfully, so it's not a local firewall, but you're failing to connect to the char server. Is it still failing now?

Sorry for the delayed reply, it got settled by itself i could not find out now its the actual reason for it. For working fine on both the desktop and laptop perfectly.

I believe this thread could be closed unless if others faced the same problem. Thanks for the reply Azzy.
