Every name I try to take for this game is already taken, or that is what the game just says. I've seen other reports on this but I haven't found the solution yet. Please help me with this problem.

You're using the wrong client. 

 

You need to use the "Ragnarok" client if you want to play on Chaos/Renewal, or the "ClassicRO" client if you want to play on Classic/Loki

 

If you are getting that when using the correct client, you missed patches. Reinstall and be sure to always run the game as admin so it can patch.
