[Rotine]

Talk to Zeldys/Aeon near Louyang Kafra.

 

Aeon asks you to get Dragon Soup from Louyang Resto.

 

Go to Resto. Waitress says Dragon Soup is out of stock. You need to get ingredients

 

Kill 40 grizzly inside Louyang Duungeon 1 to get the ingredients (no need to pick any item, just 40 kills)

 

Go back to waitress. She says she will prepare the soup and give it to the couple.

 

Go back to the couple(Zeldys/Aeon).

 

Zeldys will ask you to take pictures of 6 tourist spots in Louyang. You need a blue gem for each picture because blue gem is the symbol of Zeldys' planet.

 

The pictures need to be taken in order.

 

1. 217,134- Louyang Town. On top of statue. Walk a bit north from Zeldys.

 

2. Shout Tower at Louyang Field  (You may need to finish this: http://irowiki.org/w..._Mountain_Quest

or you can just fly wing/tele and hope you get to the shout tower.

 

Or maybe you can go at the foot of the tower and just turn your camera (haven't tried this)

 

3. 197, 320 in Louyang Town (this is on the north wall)

 

4. 43,168 at the top of the stairs inside Louyang Dungeon 1. The stairs are near the exit to level2.

 

5. 46, 219 (or 209, coz I messed up my note on this part). This is in Louyang Dungeon 2.

 

6. 169,216 inside Louyang Dungeon 3. 

 

Dungeons 2 and 3 have mobs, and there's a boss dungeon 3. I'm a noob so I died there. LOL

 

 

Then go back to Zeldys. He will ask you to get Colorful Magical Sands(something like that). It's a souvenir, Get it from the dude near Louyang Tool Shop. 

 

Dude will ask you to give 1 blue or red dyestuff and 30 mud lumps.

 

Thats it.

 

Go back to Zeldys to get exp/job exp and Yao Jun Hat.

edit2: You also get one Dragon Breath -_-tail (+10 Int food)

Edit: Pretty sure of all the coords except #5. I will visit that place again tomorrow. Or someone can just post the exact coord and the amount of exp/job exp.

Pfft, OP beat me to making a guide.  Since making another thread for it would be redundant, I'll just paste mine here.  It has terrible screenshots and everything.  What more could you possibly want?

• Talk to Princess Aeon twice.

 

She's right next to the town Kafra and should be marked with a green "+."  She says that she wanted to try dragon soup, but the restaurant is out of a certain ingredient.  Aeon will direct you to Shunrei at the restaurant.  She's right across from the entrance as soon as you walk in.

 

• Go to the restaurant and talk to Shunrei.

 

 

(The restaurant is where the arrow is pointing.  Go in there!  :V )

 

• Go to the first floor of Louyang dungeon and hunt 40 grizzlies.
• Report back to Shunrei at the restaurant.
• Talk to Princess Aeon again.

This time her husband Zeldys will request that you take photos of tourist spots in Louyang, and tells you that the pictures must include a blue gemstone.

 

• Keep a blue gemstone in your inventory.  This won't be used up.
• Visit the tourist spots and click the signs.  This must be done in order!

SPOT 1:  A statue located right behind Zeldys.

 

     

 

SPOT 2:  Shout Mountain, located in the field south of town.  If you haven't completed the Shout Mountain access quest or there are too many monsters or you're lazy or you're allergic to mountains, you can cheat and just stand at the base and rotate the camera like this.

 

    

 

SPOT 3:  The Louyang Wall.  Get on top of the wall at the northern part of town.  You could probably do the camera rotation thing here too but the stairs are like right there.

 

    

 

SPOT 4:  Stairs in Louyang dungeon floor 1.  This spot seems to get overrun by monsters a lot too so be careful I guess.

 

    

 

(I forgot to take the cap while actually doing the quest and came back later and didn't feel like cleaning up the monsters whoops)

 

SPOT 5:  Statues in Louyang dungeon floor 2.

 

    

 

(Ignore the drops, I am a disgrace!)

 

SPOT 6:  Bridge in Louyang Dungeon 3.  Watch out for White Lady unless you like getting waterballed.

 

    

 

• Report back to Zeldys and offer to help he and his wife get colorful sand.
• Speak with Shiryo in the tool shop.  He's right next to the tool dealer.

 

(The tool shop is over here.  I was facing the wrong way when I took this because I just walked out.)

 

• Bring EITHER a CobaltBlue Dyestuffs OR Scarlet Dyestuffs.  I've done this twice with blue and had a friend try red - as far as we could tell the reward was the same.
• When you bring BLUE, he will ask for 30 Mud Lump.
• When you bring RED, he will ask for 30 Dry Sand.
• Speak with Zeldys or Aeon again and you'll receive EXP, a +10 INT food item, and a Yao Jun Hat.

I've hunted the 40 Grizzlies, yet Shunrei says I have yet to hunt them all.

 

I went back to kill some more just in case and returned, and she still says the same thing. Is anyone else having this problem?

If you're getting this message:

 

 

it means you need to talk to Aeon again, then talk to Shunrei again.

 

Unfortunately you'll have to redo your bear hunt, since the counter doesn't kick in until you've talked to Aeon twice before talking to Shunrei.

If you talk to the quest people again the women asks for Dragon soup again, has anyone tried to give her soup again?  Im not sure if the hat is worth doing it on all my characters.  If it was like the tarnished lamp quest or dragon helm quest reward it would be nice.  I had to go get counter agent and dye made because no one was selling them.

I think the quest can only be done once per character, as I don't see any kind of timer and I've tried to repeat it with no results.

 

Also, a friend of mine guinea pigged for me and took a red dye to the shop guy.  Editing my crappy guide with the result.

I just rushed mine because at that time there were people asking for coords. And because I know there are people like me who don't read NPC dialogues and just keep pressing Enter, hence not knowing where to go next.

just want to let everyone know, that u should do the dragonhelm quest in amatsu first, from the npc zeldy, because if you do the louyang quest first, you will not be able to get the dragonhelm quest after. i believe this is a bug do to them both using the same npc "zeldy"

EDIT: It's not near the tool shop, it's INSIDE the tool shop.

 

PERSONAL NOTE: this is what the NPC says for the "Mud Lump part":

 

"Find the shopkeeper Shyriu and 30 Mud Lumps for 30 Dry Sands".

That's not even a phrase. Honestly... Do I really feel like paying You people? NOPE. At all.
