But he's so bishie how could you stab something with a face like that
He's one of the few "villians" I've actually wanted to see survive. Despite what he has done, he seems to be a really good king and good at bringing his people together. He also seems to feel genuine guilt and doesn't kill her even though he has several more opportunities to do so, on the contrary he protects her. Though Yona's character development suggests she will someday be a better fit and get her revenge.

The manga is still in the process of being written, but it is more strongly implied that they will end up being canon.

She's too busy kicking ass and growing into a stronger character to be bothered with romance at the moment.
