In the spirit of the item description project, maybe? Let me just say I love the new icon system on the mini map and I like the navigation system. I would love to see it more polished. The engrish in a lot of text areas in the game turns new players off.
I'll start us off.
On the mini map, the icons could be named better:
"Shield store" -- should be "Armor Shop"
"Weapon store" could be "Weapon Shop"
"Tool store" could be "Tool Shop"
"Convenience service" could be "Convenience Service"
Shop seems more consistent with in-game jargon, and these are titles so all words should start with a capital. That's more nit-picking, but "shield store" does need to be changed to armor.
When you kick off the navigation system it says:
Navigation > Please move to the direction.
This is engrish.
It should say, maybe:
Navigation > Please move in the indicated direction.
When you're plotting a destination:
There are 3 checkboxes for your trip planner.
'Search' (Mouseover: 'Scroll') - change search to Scroll, with tooltip "Use dungeon teleportation scrolls when able."
'Dungeon' (Mouseover: 'Kafra') - First, dungeon doesn't fit in the space given, and it overflows. Second, it is clearly the filter for kafra warps. I suggest changing the display text to "Warps" and the mouseover tooltip to "Use kafra warps when able."
'Airship' (Mouseover: 'Airship') - Tooltop, "Use airships when able."
When Checking 'kafra' box and executing a planned trip and your next step is to talk to kafra
Navigation > Use the Kafra Employee this guide
Change to...
Navigation > Talk to the Kafra Employee as your next step.
If you try to quit an active planned route:
It says "Still informing! Would you like to quit?"
this is engrishy.
it should be like, "You have a route in progress. Would you like to cancel?"
Don't get me started on the help menu, its full of typos and engrish.
