Yesterday i can play ragnarok as usual.But today, the client running a patch from January 2013. I cancel and reopen the client several times and it happen again. I think, okay let's wait for patch loading until it complete.Suddenly it fail to patch at 4 september 2013. i've tried again and it fail at 4 september 2013 again.So, I can't play.

 

i'm very sure that my internet connection are stable because i'm not afk

Did they update patch2.txt it so it now starts at jan 2013 instead of april 2011 when the patcher screws up and sets patch.inf to 0?

No, but they should! I don't know what caused the updater to begin installing updates from that date.

today,it did happen again, it is just me or everyone too?this time,client is trying to patch from 4 april 2011. this is sick

 

 

how to prevent this to ever happening again?

The only way to prevent the problem from recurring is for Gravity to fix the bug in the updater that causes it. Unfortunately, Gravity has yet to even acknowledge the bug's existence, despite people regularly reporting it.

Until the bug is fixed, you'll have to do the following whenever the updater begins downloading updates from 2011:

• Close the updater.
• Download this file.
• Navigate to your client folder in File Explorer/Windows Explorer.
• Replace the file patch.inf with the version you downloaded in step 2.
• Open the Renewal client.
