We are happy to announce the release of these two cute new costumes for Halloween!

Item Mall - Account Bound & Trade Policy

 

We have implemented a new policy as an experiment and trial. Depending on how it is received and the impacting results it has to our economy and sales, we may make adjustments down the line. However, for the time being, we have set much of what the Item Mall has to offer to a free trade/vend ability. The only items that will be/remain account bound are the following:

• Mounts
• Weapons
• Skills (Tomes)
• Lucky Spin Coins

Short list isn't it. We hope that this can help promote the use of the Item Mall for its convenience between friends and entrepreneurs. However, as mentioned, if we begin to see signs of ill-taken abuse or it negatively affecting ROSE, we will revisit restrictions or other courses of action that may be fitting to the issue. We hope this comes as good news to the many who have been asking about when the restrictions would be lifted and we look forward to further feedback.


Sikuku Underground Prison Update

 

The entire under ground prison has undergone a design update, where the map now is able to be traversed and explored. There are two new NPCs located within the map that will provide repeatable quests at random.

Be warned, the difficulty of monsters have been increased, but along with that, so has the experience per kill. We hope with the numerous changes made, to see many players rediscover this map and enjoy what it now has to offer. We intend to continue working and adding to this and many other maps like it to keep game play interesting, challenging and fun.


Halloween

 

A new quest has been implemented to acquire a new costume, the Frozen Corpse Costume. This quest is going to be part of the Halloween Event and is aimed at mid to high level players (Level 150+)

Once the Halloween Event begins, speak to [Raknu Warrior] Jeffry Lloyd and see what he may have to say. This quest is going to be challenging and full of some new styles of questing. Good luck getting through it and enjoy the costume!

Halloween Costumes will be getting their boost during the Halloween event, starting from this maintenance completion and will be available for purchase through the IteM Mall, along with many seasonal items that have been long awaited for over the year! Don't miss out on getting your hands on them before they're gone!

 

Game Updates

Reinforced & Endowed Equipment
Have been updated so that the bonuses now provide an additional set bonus to their respective traits when worn together.
(2) and (4) piece set bonus tiers will increase further the stats they provide, with an additional 10% of Max HP or Max MP, depending on the type. (Reinforced or Endowed)

Skill Tweaks & Enhancements

In an effort to keep within the design intention of classes being able to remain strong within their own style, we've updated many skills so that they are not able to be dispelled as a manner of combating certain mechanics, since there was none previously.

• Corrected Shield Reflect, reflect damage amount to 20%. It was not intended to match the Knight's version of Shield Reflect.

Bug Fixes

• Corrected some incorrectly displaying quest indicators for Luna quests.
• Corrected some monster quest involvement for Luna monsters when on multiple quests involving them, multiple rewards would yield.
• Corrected the reward for Wine Delivery, to be a more appropriate consumable item.
• Corrected the missing reward choice of a Crossbow from a Zant quest.
• Corrected several quests involving the Oblivion Temple not having a minimum level requirement to them, which was allowing for power leveling unintended. These quests may no longer be started if you do not meet the level requirement, however you will be allowed to finish them if started prior this fix.

I think they mentioned somewhere that there's new costumes coming...
But recycled events are fun for a lot of people because there's new people.. a lot of old quit so how will they get the halloween costumes :3

Although recycling a part of events should be acceptable, I also think there should be things that don't come back every year and things that are new every year. Just the same event through and through may be good for new players, but it gets really boring for ones who've been around for longer.

this is true but I think if they have 2 or 3 different "event costume sets" for each event every year they can cycle through 1 of them meaning every 3rd yr they go back to the original sets? this way old players coming back can still get the costumes they missed maybe even change up the actual event every 2nd yr?

There should be enough Sets + Rewards for each event, and only enough time to collect a few. So that way there's the option of choice. Should you get the older ones, the new ones, or maybe a few parts of each? There should be a choice in rewards [personally i feel that way]. But the designing time it takes to build so many different rewards is more then most realize.
