Fantastic! Thanks. Any chance you remember your stats for this vid? when my gf and i duo ET we got to ifrit and use a token or 2 on him depending on how much he wants to hate us. we dont go to valk cause she just dispells her ms immidiatly. not sure what do do there . no GTB for us

you dont really need a gtb for et run. Buy a GR armor for your gf . Use your homu to take the dispell . 1 token is just 1m .You only do 1 ET pre week . GTB is around 20b then u can do the math. or sura takes the dispell ->raising dragon->recast ms.

She should be re-MSing after her MS is dispelled and getting it off. Can use glorious fist if you can, otherwise pot seed/berry until MS is casted. Multiple guildies have done this method back when I didn't have a gtb to provide.

x.x I wouldn't dare go near valk without a holy armor on. The GR will only protect the sura from EQ and will not reduce her physical attacks at all. The vid was before palace guard was made, which I now use and is MUCH more helpful than AK versus valk. 

 

I think my old stats used to be 100/1/90/105/90/42 but I am not sure lol. I reset everything to 120 dex when temps came out. 

 

I will be trying the GTB swap again with the added neutral reduct and hope I can get it perfect in a video =p

 

My best reco for valk is to do what has been said. Either homun tank dispell (sit on the edge of her screen and just suicide it 3-4 times and it'll be gone for sure, or have the sura snap up and MS while using yggs to pot through. She's a tough one she is.

 

Make sure she has Holy valk armor + DR HBP + Palace gard if possible - if no palace guard, use AK Helm.

i mean she can use GR on ifrit floor .She can use holy armor then switch to gr after she recasted ms.

I actually picked up an angeling card for pretty cheap yesterday. i cant decide what to put it in. valk or orleans ive heard too. was leaning towards valk for the unbreakable. thanks everyone for the comments. we can give it a try this week will post here how it goes if anyone is even interested haha

Orleans is nice, but since my Holy is mainly for valk who breaks armor and usually kills you, not giving you time to re-FCP.

 

My plan for the perfect solo valk would use an Orleans though, so I could 2x KBC it as well

Thanks for the videos! I am a 127/32 (111 Amstir/Sera) new Gene (and started playing iRO in October) trying to build up gear and experience to perform some of the feats in your videos. So far with just a Resistant Valk and fire/water/wind armor set I have made it to level 40, but have not killed the MVP on that floor yet. I am also only really using CC to kill everything to try and conserve whatever zeny I can for upgrades.

 

I have a few quick questions...

 

- GR is Ghostring and what does ghost property provide?

- Where can I obtain a Palace guard cap?

- Do you use  AKH over Palace Guard when its a Demi-human MVP?

- Do you ever use CEB?

- When you do 1-80 of ET are you doing it in hopes of big drops for zeny or incremental gains through OCA rewards etc? I noticed you used a decent chunk of money (by my standards) to get essentially nothing. Other threads recommend doing ET as a way to make easy zeny, but the threads themselves may be outdated or only pertaining to people doing them in experienced guilds that use absolute minimal resources by working together.

GR is Ghostring yes, GR card is not something you should really aim to aquire - I literally never use it. The only time GR comes in handy is to reduce neutral skills only and not physical attacks. a DR, Deviling, reduces both and is one of my most used items. This can be in a hbp or FAW.

 

Palace guard was a lucky box item, must be bought from another player unfortunately. For now, AKH is a great alternative. AKH is also better for MVPs that don't have much neutral offensive.

 

I do use AKH versus Demi-human MVP, but I use Palace guard for bio3/4 MVPs while tanking on Sura because of their extreme neutral damage. Genetic cannot tank bio3/4 MVPs alone.

 

CEB is awesome for demi-humans! I mostly like it for the damage increase but it's defense is great too. It's my go-to headgear for hunting bio4.

 

The money I burned in ET can easily be returned if you have a clear inevntory/cart at the start, collect all the items worth money - NPC the rings/etc items that you can't vend to players on floor 50 break and then stock up again/repeat. 

 

My main goal in ET is to get an MVP / miniboss card, but items can help recoup your losses like OCA/other MVP drops.

 

If you go slow, you can save a lot of resources. The big money that comes from ET starts around floor 85, which I recommend a party for. (At least, Sura & Gene -- preferred Sura, Gene, AB, Strings)

They use "Holy attack", not Holy light.
