In Eden group and in other areas around Kafra employees there is just too much crowding. In Eden group it is a pain just to try to find a space that allows you to walk around and the sheer volume of people in there makes slower computers lag. I don't know why it hasn't been addressed yet. Bots and AFK clutter are really bothersome to players who don't utilize either.

Correction, highly annoying, not just bothersome.

In kRO its been changed to allow items to be vended for 1b from 99,990,000. Its a matter of time till we get this.

Source: here.

There is no reason for a player to AFK on top of any NPC or one cell away from it, because this makes it difficult to locate/click the NPC. Let alone the issue of pets/homunculus covering them up. As for Eden's remaining NPCs (VIP Buffer, Merry badger, Cat Hand Agent, board quests npcs and VIP services) they are difficult to locate. Chatrooms shouldn't be an issue if people didn't exploit. A quick fix is adding dead cells around NPCs, though its been asked countless of times nothing been done about it as of yet.

Well, the way RO is coded holding more isn't possible. Not without creating some kind of bank pocket that can keep track of all your zeneh and be able to use it.

Selling more is easy, I don't know why that was never changed. In fact I don't understand why you can't link up the vend to the bank either if you reach the max amount of holding zeny.

That's what I do x-x. I pity people who enter there and don't have more modern PCs.

well, the expoit for making a chat/vending shop beside an NPC should be Bannable.  I mean,  it's a kind of abuse.  GM made this impossible to just stand beside and NPC and try to make a chat.  You clearly need to DO something to be able to achieve this.  So there are no reason for anyone to say:

well, i made my chat near a NPC by mistake,  it was an accident/not intentional.

Abusing ANYTHING in RO should be bannable.  GMs just need to make that announcement weeks before the start banning. (but they are tin the rights of doing this right from the start since players are obviously intentionnaly bypassing some GM "law". (which is not to make chat/vend near an NPC)

In the latest Tiki livestream Oda advised to report those who exploit the chatrooms near NPCs. But, in reality its like asking to report recurring bots in fields. Players will just keep exploiting, unless GMs can investigate the tickets immediately for such matter then that's another story.

People get banned for far less so I don't know why it isn't an active practice to do this. Eden group is insane with the number of chat rooms in there. There should at leastt be a path from the entrance to all three of the portals and more room around the NPC there.

In the latest Tiki livestream Oda advised to report those who exploit the chatrooms near NPCs. But, in reality its like asking to report recurring bots in fields. Players will just keep exploiting, unless GMs can investigate the tickets immediately for such matter then that's another story.

Reporting can take forever and really has done nothing. I've actually noticed bots getting worse so I am going to assume it is a decrease in GM activity. Non-stop chat bots in pontera when before, when they were managing three servers, they weren't as often (least in my experience). With one server it should be easier to manage than before. Perhaps picking up the pace and having someone on frequently all hours of the day would help. Switching to a new GM every hour or so, that monitors all the super active areas. At the very least have someone on to sit there and take requests. I'm sure they will get non-stop messages but they are GMs after all. Kind of what they are there for. I found reporting on the forums much faster than tickets.

What needs to happen is better coding. If the coding was solid and had a wider range around NPC and a coded path in places like Eden group there wouldn't be a need to have GM come in and fix the issue. People simply wouldn't be able to do what they are doing. They only have one server to worry about now so it'd be nice if they would fix things. There are people that will say "Well do you want new cool things or for them to fix minor crap?" I'd prefer all the minor crap, because when you add it all together it helps a lot more than some new stuff that can be pushed back.

Secretary Lime Evenor should just go out there and warp all the chatboxes with B> in them to the city of Alberta.  That is the merchant city after all.   That way, Eden lobby will have room for people seeking party members.   It seems that Eden would be a great place to put up chats seeking help or seeking parties.  But for now, it is filled up with chats by people not wanting to vend the items with a merchant but hoping for a RMT paypal offer instead.

The general theme of Eden Group is to have a place for players, especially new ones, to train characters.  It would be wholly within the theme to have a policy that all chats on the first floor of the eden lobby be training related such as requests for help, party member solicitations, etc.

The lag is ok for me, it's just the people venting that makes it hard to walk and find npcs. The first time I went in,  I could barely move and this wasn't because of lag but because I couldn't see the floor.

You act like that is uncommon. I know many people who play with computers that aren't the latest and greatest. And as coded said it isn't nessisarily the lag that is the main issue. It is the fact the floor spots are hard to find to walk.

Exactly. It will lag some people but the biggest problem is being able to walk around and clicking on certain NPC.

I'd be fine with that as long as there was a coded path so that the chats didn't blog up pathways and areas around NPC.

Make any Vending, whether via Shop or Chatroom with B> titles impossible.
It should at least lessen the amount of those stupid chatboxes everywhere and make it easier to walk around that place.

Could just make them use the arena room (least I think thats the room, go through the big blue doors and first on your left). That way they are out of the way. I really don't mind nessisarily that they are in the main room but it is WHERE they are allowed in the main room that is the big issue I wish they would code in and fix. Would be nice to expand the room around certain NPC in Pontera and other places as well since certain ones seem to have less of a field than others.

All for this! The arena room has TONS of unused space that could be great for setting up shops and chatboxes; it's not too out of the way to cause trouble, and it'd make things a great deal easier for those that just want to grab their quests in peace.

Maybe we will see some action on it eventually, although doubtful v-v.

That doesn't at all fix the problem of over crowding. There needs to be better coded room around NPC and the path ways. That many people lags many players and shouldn't even be in there for trading. People should be able to walk in and walk around freely without having to adjust their zoom and zoom doesn't exactly make it that much easier to walk around.

Plain and simple, they need to fix it and I'm fairly certain they won't.

Increase the vend limit to 1 bil (update is coming) and have some kind of "auction house" kind of deal, someone  suggested a while ago. Then Eden would be clear. But the Eden group is being used because that's where most people go.

I hate gong there. If I do find an open cell to walk on, I usually can't target it due to people being so close to it. When I finally target, someone is walking on that cell, so I have to start looking again for another spot o walk on. And getting upstairs... Ugh! Such a pain. x.x

This will totally clear up Eden.
