This was suggested before but why not make a Treasure Chest that spawn in a random location of the map (one in all server at one time, to dont make it easy) that would give interesting rewards to the player that open it.

1) The reward could be in the lines of the "Marathon Event"

Just for fun, let's see if we can try to get a semi-complete list! :)

2) Or in the lines of the "Halloween Horrorfest" event with its "Happy Halloween Boxes"

The idea here is that when the player open the Treasure Chest, it gets an item similar to the Happy Halloween Box but permanent and not bounded (it can be traded). And the box would give similar rewards. In this idea they should leave the Magic Sticks as permanent mall item to be able to reinforce the boxes droped by the Treasure Chests.

Yes, this should be a permanent thing that keep people exploring the open world. Because if one follow only the quests, the player wont see lots of places in the game that are great: for example the surrounding areas to Ancient Temple, the Lux Beach, Metulla Mountain between others.

The box could have a special shape or color to dont mistake with the quests ones. There should be one at all moments in the open world (in one of the maps) located in a random place but accesible to the players, but could be a place in wich someone only can reach with a dash, for example. This way there is a montivation to travel and a reward for the ones that stay in the open map and dont spend all the time in dungeons.

Could just do this setup.

All chests are locked and requires a key to open.

Ordinary Chest = key drops from overworld mobs.
Simple Chest = key drops from elite mobs.
Supernus Chest = key drops from nightmare mobs.
Eximus Chest = key drops from dungeon boss.
Rare Chest = key drops from dungeon boss.
Carus Chest = key drops from raid boss.

So basically, you may find the treasure chests, but you can't open it without a magical key.
Have to use magical key, cause the arguement is that I can use an axe to hack it open, so the chests got to be magical. -_-

Also, the Treasure Chest should last 1 hour in each location, if the time pass and nobody pick it, it spawn in a new location. This is to prevent the chest from be unreachable, if spawn in a place nobody can access.
