Changing Guild Sizes and Alliances should be considered a dead topic. We will not be changing those mechanics for the foreseeable future.

I feel like I'm being baited and the mods won't act. So if I point out how removing allying ruins the large social dynamic of RO, and keeping it counters imbalanced guild sizes, this thread will turn into "guild vs guild weenie wagging"; but if I ignore it, I risk the staff thinking this suggestion is a logically thought out suggestion not at all prompted by a guild that only WoEs for the final 10 mins of every WoE getting alliance stomped because they are politically unfavourable....

YOUR alliance is one concerned about allying. There is not one other guild in this server who is interested in the alliance system like yours is. You NEED the alliance system. Without it, you're going to get stomped; zero discussion needed. And what social dynamic are talking about? You need to be in the same guild to converse with people? Not ONE thing in your post made sense at all.
 
Let me explain how I thought about this: With no alliance system in place, guilds will be more expected to pick their own weight up. There is absolutely nothing stopping you from coordinating with them (like you would do anyway, so I don't know why you're even complaining). This will promote development and cohabitation within a guild (instead of pawning off excuses like lack of skill, members, etc onto allies that carry you).
 
This generates that small sliver of 'pride' and 'improvement'. I don't know about the rest of the server, but I am absolutely fine with getting beat over and over as long as field is level (and so should you Xellie, not cry constantly when you're faced with a suggestion that would make that a reality for you).
 
This will also inspire people who are interested in joining guilds (or even forming them) to actually try!
 
Who wants to compete when the outcome of WoE every weekend is so predicable? That alliance is causing people/guilds to quit. Essentially, you're poisoning this server, so it baffles me when you say you have it's best interest in mind.
 
But having said all that, do what you like. I'm not passing judgement nor am I actually worried about your alliance. I'm simply saying, you're wrong. Very wrong.
 
Edit: Sorry to hear that this is a dead topic. I hope for the best the life in this server sticks around to watch the same WoE happen every weekend.

Put in a spawn of DG monsters so people can actually make giant magestic goats like sealed shrine was created for. Or modify the drop of the monsters in sealed shrine so that they drop the fragment of darkness and crystal of darkness. Going to level 97 of ET 15+ times to get enough is stupid

I think it's okay right now, it means you have to really work for your item, giving ET some actual value to it. Makes it a lot rarer and more exclusive, rather than just cheesing yourself a powerful item.

Pointless. By the time you successfully organize enough trips up ET to complete one headgear DG will be implemented and you can cheese your way then. Its only delaying the inevitable.

 

Would be smart if they implemented things in the correct order

I have no idea why its taking them so long to implement SM. After over a month of their "discuss end game pve" thread being open literally everyone who posted said they had no problem with SM going in. Then it turned into a stupid fantasy discussion of putting in 3rd class.

 

If the thread has been open for over a month the people who cared would have already posted their objections, but they didnt. How much more obvious can the community make it?

They get doubled (x2 event exp+drops) as far as I remember.
