Error in the login screen when i press any key
(even keys like: "Caps Lock", "Num Lock", "Shift", "Enter", etc..)

after the patching update i got this error, i was playing fine yesterday. The message box is in spanish lol, but it say: "Ragexe.exe found an issue and it must close"

any1 is having this same problem?, any suggestion to fix it?, i rlly want to play.

Other people are reporting same issue, particularly on OSX via crossover/WINE. 

 

No fix is known yet, I'm going to sticky this thread.

almost excatly like this on osx, although no warning message whatsoever, it just crashes automatically as soon as u press any key

Bootcamp and crossover are not the same thing, correct. I'd like to add that wine ver. 1.4.1 has this problem on both OSX 10.6 and Ubuntu 12.04.

hmm after giving it a bit of rest, i tried it again, the cmd or sumthing like that doesnt show up anymore, but the login still crashes as soon as you type anything. i guess were making progress here

My problem started with the MSVCR100.dll problem. But after downloading and installing the file in the other thread, my problem persists one of my laptops and on my desktop. The other laptop took the "fix", however, the problem... evolved into this same problem where if I press anything at the login screen, the client crashes.

 

I'm currently running two laptops wirelessly, and a desktop that is connected VIA bridged connection on one of the laptops. All computers run WindowsXP SP3.
