1/29 update has caused a number of new issues for people.

If you are using RCX, and have problems, try not-using RCX. It has been suggested that RCX may not work with the new client.

Do not apply fixes for problems you don't have!

MSVCR100 missing error:

This should be solved now - exit all clients and repatch.

Download and install

http://www.microsoft...ls.aspx?id=5555

You need the 32-bit one, not the 64-bit one.

steam_api.dll missing:

Download it and put in your RO folder

http://inubashiri.ae...d/steam_api.dll

http://drazzy.com/patch/steam_api.dll (mirror)

Crash on pressing any key:

This should be solved now - exit all clients and repatch.

Download and install .NET framework 4.0 or higher:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17718

Last ditch solution, if above does not work. This is not a good solution...

Downgrade ragexe.exe - download, extract, replace the one in your RO folder with this (it seems to work)

http://drazzy.com/patch/Ragexe_11-6-2013.zip

Another last ditch solution. This is also not a good solution.

Open Data folder inside your RO folder, and move hidevend.dll and hidechat.dll to a location outside the RO folder.

Sprite Error:

rfk0.png

Your client missed the most recent patch. Exit all clients, and run the game as admin. If you still have the problem, download this and put it in your RO folder to force repatch

http://choobs.org/st...atch.inf&n=2454

C_IsSteam error:

Run patchup.exe in your RO folder as admin.

Some people have claimed that they are getting this issue today without a patchup.exe in their folder

Do not apply fixes for problems you don't have!

Get rid of the DLLs I posted, apparently those rely on other DLLs that may or may not be installed on the target machine.

Add a link for 32bit and 64bit: (respectively)

I tried the solution for the .dll files for my desktop and laptop. I cannot install them because I appear to already have a newer version on my computers. Should I uninstall them and install those older ones? And will this also fix my 2nd laptop's issue with crashing with any key press at the login screen since it originally had the .dll file problem?

Which problem are you having?

Not sure what the right response to this is. Maybe Inu or Ren can advise?

Okay, from the top. When I started the patcher after maintenance was over, all three of my computers were suffering from the MSVCR100.dll error. After attempting earlier "fixes" (including one with the zip files that Inubashiri had hosted, then deleted the post for) I now am having 3 different problems on all three computers.

Computer #1-My main laptop- gives a "bad image" error after clicking play.

Computer #2, my wife's laptop- crashes when any key is pressed on the login screen

Computer #3, my desktop, which is connected VIA bridged connection to my laptop- the original MSVCR100.dll error.

When trying to download that file from Microsoft (the 32 bit installer) it says I already have a newer version than the one I am trying to download, and won't let me move forward with the install. I was wondering if I should uninstall the MS Visual package and install the one you guys linked to? Or...?

I wanna know how many people are using RCX, I was told earlier today the new client build seems to be fouling it up.

I was also having the 100.DLL problem, installed the C++ and now It will crashed as I click "Login" after inputing my logins on the login screen. It will says Ragexe.exe has stop working. I also tried replacing the ragexe.exe provided by DrAzzy but it's still crashing when I click login.

What's RCX? All I'm using is Windows XP (home on my wife's laptop and my desktop, and Pro on my laptop) and RO. I don't even use teamspeak, or any other programs. Not even the program some people use that they say reduces lag.

Same here...Didn't use any other programs. The MSVCR100.DLL issue still persist.

Tried all the solutions above.

Anyone tried re-installing RO with any luck?

If this doesn't get fix soon, i hope they reimburse me back the VIP days that i can't login.

Same result as nitrocid. And I finally tried the last ditch fix, no change.

EDIT-I even tried removing the Microsoft Visual C++ x86 redistributable package, and download it from the link provided on my desktop comp. Still getting the MSVCR100.DLL error.

Check what programs are installed under Programs and Features or Add/Remove Programs (Win XP), does it look something like this?  This is mine.

It seems one of my projects, specifically hidechat included a .NET Framwork 4.0 DLL, for now if you wanna get past it, try downloading this and see if it works or look to see if you have Microsoft .NET Framwork 4.0

I was just able to start RO successfully on a virgin Win7 machine, with .NET framework 4.5 (delivered automatically via windows update - I didn't install it myself) - but I needed the 32-bit version of the redistributable, not the 64-bit one.

If you think for a second, it's this makes sense, since RO is built as a 32-bit application - hence it uses 32-bit dlls.

Dear Lord! Seems my computers are in desperate need of updating. I only have ONE of those packages for VS on two of my computers. And the third still needs 44 high priority updates. I don't know how or when Automatic Updates was disabled, but it looks like a long night for me! After I'm done downloading everything, I'll let y'all know how it went. I just hope the updates don't take the last 8 gigs of my main laptop. MS seems reliable for wasting disk space. Ugh!

All my redistributables are x86. Currently installing .NET 4 Framework (Choose repair option instead of removing).

Will see if it works in couple mins.

RO is 32bit, the DLLs Ren and I created are compiled under x86 (32-bit), I have removed the references to anything .NET and recompiled them, hopefully tomorrow can get a patch made and it'll fix itself.

Downloading the .NET 4.0 framework in the link and installed it (repaired option) still doesn't work.

However, i have .NET 4.5.1 framework in windows important update unchecked.

Just check it and still installing.

Will post how's the result with .NET  4.5.1 framerwork tomorrow.

<cross finger> Hope it works.

Need to get some zzzz.
