Lets start with the skills:

â?¢Mystic

â?¦Fire Fairy's Protection
Increase Physical Critical Damage Rate
-> Increase Skill Critical Damage Rate 1% ~ 10%

Ok, this is more a suggestion than anything, but if they will do this change, at least make it a target buff or a party buff.


DNA:

â?¢Tempest

â?¦Extended Range of Glaring Light
Increase Effective Range 1M ~ 10M


With this DNA it increase 10M (max) in radius, the problem is that the skill still hit 4 targets. So, we would be getting a 15M radius skill (10M DNA + 5M skill) that hit 4 targets... The DNA should also add number of targets, as others DNAs do. This wouldnt be OPed because they player would need to give up to other DNAs to add this one.

â?¦Strengthened Divine Protection
Increase Physical Attack 79~194


More a question than anything. This is right? Divine Protection is a defensive buff, they will add a dmg DNA? Maybe was defense? or maybe the skill is Weapon of God? Because if it was Divine Protection it should also apear in the Radiant DNA changes, or could be only for Tempests?

Ok, this is a joke right? Even if those DNAs go to lvl 5, they would need to spend 15-20 points to instant cast their summons. Why dont make a general DNA for all their summons? Put only one that goes to lvl 10 and the same reduction in casting time but for all the summons together.

It should be:

â?¦Swift Summon Familiar (all summons)
Decrease Recasting Time 0.2~2 sec


â?¢Avenger

â?¦Capturing Low Level Monster Intensification
Increase Capturing Level 1~ 10
â?¦Capturing Middle Level Monster Intensification
Increase Capturing Level 1~ 10
â?¦Capturing High Level Monsters Intensification
Increase Capturing Level 1~ 10


Same as the Dominators. Why have 3 DNAs for something that should be solved only with one? At least Avengers change the skill at later lvls and only have one at the same time, but still.

In other versions of Requiem description says: "Strengthened Weapon of God - Increase Physical Attack: 79~194"

Defiler
  • Strengthened Range Arrow of Ruin
    Increase Damage 185~465
  • Swift Curse of Restoration
    Decrease Recasting Time 0.2~1 sec
  • Extended Blood Storm
    Increase Skill Duration 2~20 sec
  • Extended Deadly Fog
    Increase Skill Duration 2~20 sec
  • AOE Vampiric Touch
    Target Increase Range 2~16m
    Increase number of Target 1~6

so basically defiler can now decide whether they want to use all their dna on vampiric touch (which requires at least Swift Vampiric Touch, Potens Vampiric Touch to make it usefull and this new AOE Vampiric Touch thingie...ofc you have not enough dna to skill everything up to +10)

or go with the duration DNAs of Blood Storm and Deadly Fog and some leftover points

Yes, but the most important info isnt there, if the dna will be 5 or 10 lvls.

no. the most important information isnt that. the most important information is how we get the extra DNA to spend on these extra new DNAs. also, it's a bit premature to launch a discussion thread about the changes before they've discovered all the typos in their KR translation (as has been pointed out b4 in comparison to same patch notes found on other site, i.e. divine/w.o.g. mixup).

Vamp touch is bugged cause of the coming aoe vamp touch and a ninja code injection.

Anyways, for defi its 5-7 points in each aoe dna required, just so it ticks until the cd is up; conversely when level cap changes, it'd be worth taking both DNA's to 10 if the extra ticks from the first bs/df overlap with our next cast of it.

All dominator DNAs are one big joke. They shouldn't even have made them in the first place. Why should I summon my pets faster: only to see them die even faster? Why should I cast AOE Vampiric touch on a group of mobs only to agrro them and be killed while Vamp Touch is still in cooldown.

The developers are completely out of touch with this class, I bet not a single one of them plays it.

Vampiric Touch has a 20m range.

I don't have Terms of Service, if I have 6 enemies within 20m of me, I won't live long enough to cast it.

as much as I like the idea of aoe vamp touch.... I lived with lvl 1 of the skill so far as defiler and atm I don't even have it in my build and do fine w/o it. the usefulness in pvp will not change since it's still affected by resists. I will wait with dna's on and not skill vamp touch for starters. Why? coz I wanna see if they will fix it with the next maint. on the other hand having maxed arrow of ruin DNA would make my epeenor grow. I could get to 4k+ dmg with AoR then and that sounds NOM.

and I agree with bob. + if the aoe somehow pulls additional mobs, especially in js, I doubt domi's will enjoy the happening -.-'

I forgot that during the last interview with the heads in Korea that he said pvp was basically an afterthought so they really don't care about pvp balance.

It will change how I pull in JS, I will have to drag the mob back away from all the other spawns before fully engaging.

Treasure Dungeon is going to be a pain in the ass.

I'm honestly considering leaving my DNA as is and leaving my Vampiric Touch single target.

P.S. The miss rate is way too high on this skill.

exactly, that's one of the reasons I'm thinking of not investing pts in the dna, too...

yea, the hit rate for vamp touch got nerfed in a patch a while ago. we all complained of it at the time. well, you guys noted it at least. Whatever half patch they applied to it 2weeks ago made it go from missing half the time to missing 80% plus of the time, and honestly for me seems misses are sorta random. I've had successful procs on single mob aggro and full pulls too, but it's borked now, yea.

Yes, probably is WoG, because of the DNA values fit the skill values, and also, if it was for Divine Protection, it would appear in the Radiant skill changes too: unless it was a dna only for tempests, wich would be rare.

Promise of trust dna will be awesome. No longer will i have to pray for robbing willingness to proc for me to get uber def :( thats about all though :D Tempest and Commie extended aoe is a fail if you can't hit more targets (especially commies).
