Stuck at "Please Wait" message Again! Happens from 2/28 until today!

I'm trying to play RO through steam now, but after i click on the "Agree" button for the user agreement, i got stuck at the "Please Wait" message.

It has been like 10 minutes for now.

Why is there so many problems with the server these few weeks?

This the second time now.

Multiple steam players are getting this error from 2/28 after the recent server maintenance.

It looks like no one has raised the issue here in the forum.

Please resolved this issue as soon as possible!

I can access everything from your link. Trying to log in leaves me with a Please Wait message and I haven't been able to log on all day.

More than 10 minute and can't even get to select the server screen.

Well I had this problem before, It just went away itself the next day, so maybe server side.

It's fixed for me.

 

I went to Steam > Right Click Ragnarok > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

 

It had to download some files and now I can log in.

It's fixed for me.

 

I went to Steam > Right Click Ragnarok > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

 

It had to download some files and now I can log in.

i right clicked but i cant find the local files tab lol.. can u give full directory. sorry for being noob  :p_swt:  :p_swt:

Open your steam client. Go to library. Find Ragnarok in the list, right click and select properties. In the Local Files tab select Verify Integrity blablabla. Good luck. ;)

Both my friend and I are having issues with this as well, except I'm not using the Steam client and I'm still stuck on the 'Please Wait' message. I could get to the character select screen, but as soon as I confirm to use a character, I get stuck on the message....

Yeah I've validated the game integrity several times.  Each time it still says it is missing files, first time was 30ish, then 15, then 12 on the most recent one.  This is very frustrating as each time takes 40-ish minutes to get these files.

My wife is having the same issue usually i don't play through steam, Works fine if you launch game with Ragnarok.exe and not via steam but i can not seem to get it to work with steam right now.

im sure its something server side just open it with the launcher in the folder for now.

Just launch it without steam for now and wait till this problem is fixed.

 

Navigate to your steam folder > steamapps > Common > ragnarok > then open Ragnarok.exe and select Play you will have to manually log in but it should work

Confirmed playing via Steam overlay not working after last Steam client update. So Steam players can't throw their money to buy kp for a while I guess.

So right now i don't even know my password.
Well i know i can reset my game account password but what will happened when Steam is working again?
Steam record our game account and password but we don't know how to change them!

The account is LINKED with steam so it will always bypass the password login interface when launching via steam, so changing the password wouldn't really effect that if it makes you feel better i have personally tested this with my wifes account i changed her password but it still auto loged her in via steam.

It's not just the Steam version, I'm using RO without Steam, and I'm still stuck on the "Please Wait" message.
