Well im having some troubles with my patch, yesterday it was fine, but today i was only missing the last patch however... the thing is, now everytime i open the patch, no matter the condition it start to update since 2011.... i try rebooting my pc just to see if anything changes but didnt work :c, with the admi permission was the same thing.... so i have no idea of any solution for it, if any of you guys at iRO community can help me, ill appreciate it

 

 

Even letting it patch all the way since 2011 to nowdays (3/5/2014) it says repacking sources and still that position for hours and doesnt let me play :V

Reinstall, by now god knows what state your RO folder is in.

Well guess what, i reinstalled the game (deleting everything before the installing so the installation would be clean) but i got some error lke this one "SkinInfo_New.lua:219: attempt to call global `C_IsSteamOn` (a nil value)".

(wich the last time a few months ago worked for me but now it didnt)

 

But then i got another error: attempt to call a nil value

However i still cant play and is getting so much frusttrating, i mean i just bought vip, and now theres an event with double exp and im so much f*cktop

What is the complete and exact text of all the errors you receive?

Is it the c is steam, or something else?

Okay, you've fixed C_IsSteam, now we have a different issue - but I'm not entirely sure what. 

 

What's the exact size  (in properties) of ragexe.exe (or ragexe - depending on your folder view settings, the .exe may not be shown) in your RO folder?

Yup, that's right. And Ragnarok.exe is 300,032 bytes?

Waitaminute, is this the old file locking issue...? I didn't think the new patcher did that, though...

You mean the old patched downloaded on the WP web???, cuz that is one I was using... I'm actually downloading the one they have in the web now to see if that may change something
editing: Yep definitely the new patch solve my problems, and now I can log in to, never thought that would change much but thxs god it did

"SkinInfo_NEW.lua: 219: attempt to call global C_IsSteamOn (a nil value)"

 

and also, there is no patchup.exe file in my client folder.

 

please help me fix this.. plz

Are you running Windows Vista/7/8? If so, make sure you have given administrative privaleges to your Steam folder and your Ragnarok folder in steam/steamapps/common/Ragnarok . Also, make sure your live antivirus/antimalware scanner is ignoring the Steam folder. Then, just uninstall and reinstall.

There is a copy of Patchup.exe on DrAzzy's web site. Ensure you put the file in your IRO client installation folder before you open it.
