To those of us who bought a tome on the wrong account etc / no longer have use for it as it's not something we use for a build anymore. They cost 500 prem points / 400 IM. Perhaps they should just be made to be able to dissasemble into 400 prem points. This prevents the books from being "traded" for equal price. And they can remain account bound with no real worries.

If you do this could you just, learn the skill , and then dissamble the tome ? 

That would not be fair, since people could get the skill for free :B

I ask since ive never got a skill tome from IM.

no, due to the fact that skills cost 500 im and only return 400. you'd lose 100 prem each time, eventually draining it completely or below 500 and no longer able to buy the tome.

But you are still just paying 100 IM points for the skill if you do this

I think if you could disassemble the tome, you should get half the original amount. So say 250 Premium points?

Consumable (or any stackable) items can't be disassembled anyway, so unlikely to happen any time soon.
