In keeping with what "Reno" on second floor of Eden does for old headgears, armors, and accessories, here is a list of proposed renewed old/useless weapons!

 

New features in green.

 

Improved Star Dust Blade [2]

A spectacular sword with a blade forged out of meteorite that shines with starlight during the night.

Adds a 5% chance of inflicting [Stun] on the target when doing a melee attack.

Increase the damage of [Bash], [Mammonite], and [Holy Cross] by 1%. The damage improves by 2% per refine of the weapon.

Type : One-Handed Sword
ATK: 140 180

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 45

Required Job: Novice

 

Improved Caesar's Sword [1]

A one-handed sword which looks just like a pair of scissors.

25% 40% more damage to [Plant] race targets.

Physical attacks ignore the defense of [Plant] race targets.

 

Type : One-Handed Sword
ATK: 140 160

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 40

Required Job: Novice, Swordsman, Merchant, Thief

 

Improved Berserk [1]

A claw imbued with the essence of madness.

Aspd +12%.

Increases the damage of [Raging Trifecta Blow] by 30%.

When attacking, there is a 1% chance to automatically cast [Excruciating Palm]. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Claw
ATK: 120 165

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 36 65

Required Job: Priest, Monk

 

Improved Bloody Axe [1]

A terrifying axe that is said to fill the entire battlefield with blood once it cuts flesh.
Increases movement speed when equipped.
STR +10 +20

Increases the user's movement speed.

Causes external bleeding status to enemies at a 1% chance. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 4 refine of the weapon.

Type : Two-Handed Axe
ATK: 170 200

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 44

Required Job: Swordsman, Merchant

 

Improved Book of Billows [3]

A hefty book with a hard cover that has been enchanted with the Water property.

When attacking, has a 1% chance to automatically cast [Cold Bolt] level 5. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Book
ATK: 90 140

Weapon Element: Water

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 27 70

Required Job: Priest, Sage, Taekwon Master

 

Improved Book of Blazing Sun [3]

A hefty book with a hard cover that has been enchanted with the Fire property.

When attacking, has a 1% chance to automatically cast [Fire Bolt] level 5. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Book
ATK: 90 140

Weapon Element: Fire

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 27 70

Required Job: Priest, Sage, Taekwon Master

 

Improved Book of Gust of Wind [3]

A hefty book with a hard cover that has been enchanted with the Wind property.

When attacking, has a 1% chance to automatically cast [Lightning Bolt] level 5. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Book

Weapon Element: Wind

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 27 70

Required Job: Priest, Sage, Taekwon Master

 

Improved Book of Mother Earth [3]

A hefty book with a hard cover that has been enchanted with the Earth property.

When attacking, has a 1% chance to automatically cast [Earth Spike] level 5. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Book
ATK: 90 140

Weapon Element: Earth

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 27 70

Required Job: Priest, Sage, Taekwon Master

 

Improved Book of the Apocalypse [2]

Increases physical damage against [Fire], [Earth], [Wind] and [Water] element targets by 7% 55%.
Increases damage received from [Holy] element attacks by 5%.

Weapon Element: Shadow

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 40 70

Required Job: Priest, Sage, Taekwon Master

 

Improved Chemeti Whip [2]

A powerful whip made of steel chain for heavy duty battles.

Flee +10 +20, Crit +5 +10, Perfect Dodge +2 +5.

When attacking, there is a 1% chance to gain ATK +80 for 20 seconds. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 3 refine of the weapon.

Type : Whip
ATK: 135 150

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 44 80

Required Job: Dancer

 

Improved Skipping Rope

A skipping rope with wooden handles.

Crit +20 +50.

Bypasses 8% of the defense of enemies. The amount of defense bypassing improves by 1% per refine of the weapon.

Type : Whip
ATK: 120 185

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 30 70

Required Job: Dancer

 

Improved Electric Wire [2]

An electric wire. Beware of electric shock.

When attacking, there is a 1% chance to cast [Lightning Jolt] Level 5. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Whip

Weapon Element: Wind
ATK: 110 160

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 30 80

Required Job: Dancer

 

Improved Icicle Whip [2]

A whip created from enchanted icicles that are eternally frozen.

When attacking, there is a 1% chance to cast [Snow Flake Draft] Level 5. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 3 refine of the weapon.

Type : Whip

Weapon Element: Water
ATK: 110 160

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 30 80

Required Job: Dancer

 

Improved Red Flame Whip [2]

A whip made from the tough leather of a Fire property monster.

When attacking, there is a 1% chance to cast [Exploding Dragon] Level 2. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Whip

Weapon Element: Fire
ATK: 110 160

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 30 80

Required Job: Dancer

 

Improved Gaia Whip [2]

A whip fashioned out of tough tree roots that have been braided together.

When attacking, there is a 1% chance to cast [Heaven's Drive] Level 4. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type : Whip

Weapon Element: Earth
ATK: 110 160

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 30 80

Required Job: Dancer

 

Improved Whip of Balance [3]

A balance is attached at the tip of the whip. Anyone who gets a hit by this whip is knocked back.

The target gets knock backed by 2 cells when [Slinging Arrow] or 3 cells when [Arrow Vulcan] is used.

The target gets knock backed by 2 cells when [Slinging Arrow] is used and becomes immobilized for 2 seconds.

The target gets knock backed by 3 cells when [Arrow Vulcan] is used.

Immobilized enemies receive +10% damage from [Arrow Vulcan] for each refine of the weapon.

Type : Whip

ATK: 110 160

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 70 110

Required Job: Dancer

 

Improved Wrench

A heavy tool with many practical applications.

Adds a 1% 7% chance of inflicting [Blind], [Frozen], [Poison], [Stun], [External Bleeding], and [Magic Mushroom] statuses when doing a physical attack.

Type: Mace

ATK: 115 140

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 55 85

Required Job: Acolyte

 

Improved Quadrille

A heavy and powerful iron mace with a rounded top.

Increases physical damage against [Demi-Human] race and [Earth] and [Undead] element targets by 10% 40%.

When attacking, has a 4% chance of automatically casting [Bash] level 10. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Type: Mace

ATK: 165 200

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 40 110

Required Job: Acolyte

 

Improved Iron Driver

A heavy, round headed mace intended for use in athletic competitions, but has proven to be effective in battle.

Has an enhanced range of 2 tiles.

When attacking, there is a 8% chance to automatically cast [Roundhouse] level 1 on the target. The chance of activation improves by 1% per refine of the weapon.

Type: Mace

ATK: 155 180

Weapon Level: 3

Required Level: 78 60

Required Job: Acolyte

 

Improved Exorciser

A ceremonial dagger that possesses the power to defeat evil and is used in performing exorcisms.

Physical attacks ignore the defense of [Demon] race targets.

Increases damage dealt to [Demon] race by 30%.

Reduces damage received from [Demon] race by 5%.

When attacking, there is a 1% chance to automatically cast [Signum Crusis] level 5. The chance of activation improves by 1% per 2 refine of the weapon.

Increases damage received from [Demi-Human] race by 10%.

Type: Dagger

ATK: 90 135

Weapon Element: Neutral Holy

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 36 60

Required Job: Swordsman, Merchant, Thief, Soul Linker, Ninja

 

Improved Princess Knife

A beautiful dagger that is rumored to have been used by an ancient princess to protect herself.

All stats +1.

Reduce damage from all elements except neutral by 3%.

For every refinements to the weapon, reduces damage from elements by an additional 1%.

Type: Dagger

ATK: 84 120

Weapon Level: 4

Required Level: 1

Required Job: Novice, Swordsman, Merchant, Thief, Soul Linker, Ninja

While we're at it, let's add a high ticket weapon, a la Variants: Green is additions, red is removal.

Enhanced Hurricane Fury [1]:

A massive Two-Handed Axe that is embedded with an orb imbued with the power of a hurricane.

  • Adds a 1% chance of activating Splash Damage in a 3*3 area for 5 seconds when attacking Adds a 2% chance of using [Pulse Strike] Lv 5 on the target when doing a physical attack.
  • Reduces damage received from [Medium] size enemies by 10%.
  • For each upgrade:
    • Aspd +1%
    • 1% less damage from [Medium] size enemies.
    • 15% more damage with Axe Tornado until +10

 

 
Type: Two-Handed Axe
Atk: 332
Weight: 350
Element: Neutral
Weapon: Level 4
Required Level: 80
Required Job: Lord Knight, Paladin, Mastersmith, Creator, Rune Knight, Royal Guard, Mechanic, Geneticist

So are Variants. Why not buff it to make a weak skill good? The motif is already in the weapons name, and Pulse Strike merely gets in the way for a Mech, imo.

 

The whole crystal system is only an excuse to power up Variants anyway.

I'd rather stick to unpopular/useless weapons than the toppest of top tier ones. Variants was the only thing on the list that didn't need buffing, though I wonder if they did it because they were no longer too valuable for ET runs

Well if that's the case, I'd hope for Mechanics to get Mora sets, but like that's ever going to happen.

The stardust blade we have now are total crap. No supernovices/novices that I know use it past expansion, unless they simply don't have money to get any other weapons.

 

That said, there will be a remedy for that to come soon. KRO has these slotted pile bunkers that are level 4 weapons(meaning super novices can use them too). One of the variation of it, "Pile Bunker[1]-P", is whopping 480 Atk.

Just hold on a bit guys. We'll get the buffs we'll deserve.

iirc pile bunker is a mace. well, it is. would be nice if an aspd novice can whack monsters harder.
