what is the fastest way to gain loyalty? is it to feed to the max, or feed less, so you feed more often?
reason i ask, is i've heard contradicting arguments for both, and i really want to get my homunc to s class asap!!

I'm quoting: http://irowiki.org/w...munculus_System
"Feed the Homunculus when its hunger is between 11~24 to get 1 full point of Intimacy. Feeding at the other times will give less than a full point and may even reduce the Intimacy. If one forgets to feed the Homunculus, its Intimacy will eventually decrease, and it will leave the master if it goes below zero Intimacy."
So if what you really want is to loyal him ASAP, I think you need to feed him only when his hunger it's between 11 and 24. Never ever feed over 76.
Extra stuff: the reason why some people (like me) feed the homun several times in a row, like, from 14 to 84, is so that later we can afk one whole hour without being paranoid that you have to feed 10 minutes later, otherwise it loses intimacy.
It's a matter of choice between people's priorities:
1) "I want him to be loyal as soon as possible, I don't care if I have to be feeding him every 10 minutes, I can devote such time to him" = feed only between 11~24.
2) "I want to increase his loyalty AND have a life too, so I want to afk in peace" = feed him from 14 to 24 in one take, then afk for 1 hour 10 minutes while he levels up, then come back and repeat.

There is no easy way really. The best way is to make an Eira and use the skill called Overboost to lower your homun's hunger. The GM team has been considering a cash shop manual that would increase the homuns intimacy.

Give him a break, maybe he had a bad day. Or perhaps he's a veteran and loves the game as it was before. Whatever.
I still think the homun system is outdated and unbalanced. There are skills that homuns technically have, but actually don't work. Also, sitting on town feeding your homun every 10 minutes is not my idea of "work" either.
I don't like the loyalty manuals idea; I think the whole system should be reevaluated and updated.

yup ive considered what the fastest way to loyal is as well. and the best to to feed it during 11~24.
when u do the math, assuming u are playing 4 hours a day, 6 feedings an hour and u feed it between 11~24 u get 24 imtmacy ppints a day. thats a total of 36 days til loyal
but if ure feddibg it anywhere between 24~75 u only get .75 points per feeding so around 18 points a day. thats 50 days til loyal.
of course if u play more hours a day the faster it loyals
The reason many people feed up to 75 every 60-70 mins, instead of feeding only 11-24 is that if you have an hour between feedings, you can go AFK for longer, go to the store, go do errands, stuff like that. Back in college, if I hurried, I could feed to 75+, then leave for class, and get back in time to catch it in the low teens. That means 6 feeds (4.5 loyalty) that I would otherwise have not gotten because I'd have had to put homun away to go to class or to the store.
