[ITEM] Combine Offhand Weapons with Main Weapon

Objective: To unify offhand weapons of Knights, Rangers, and Soulmakers to their main weapon counterparts.
Reason: Stated below

Knights, Rangers, and Soulmakers always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to their weapons. They are always required to exert twice the effort of other classes and in most cases spend more. Devs should consider making things fair for these 3 classes

Couldn't agree more with you. 

That's how they did with dual wielding classes (guardian - basically knights - for example) on Aura Kingdom.

 

Besides all that, there's still the refinement work: you need to refine both separatedly. And everyone knows refining while being a non-spender player is pretty much impossible.

a problem would be that knight would need DEF on their weapon so i'm more oriented to every class having an offhand

magic books for wiz, great sword holder for warriors, etc.

agree on Shinyuuke, i think each class should have their own off hand weapon AKA Secondary weapon, my idea they impliment this new system on ML50, a true Master Class

Knight = Sword+Shield
Warrior = Big Sword+Chain Grabber(Reference Darksiders 1)
Ranger = Bow+Quiver
Assassin = Claw+Shadow Tattoo(some kinda tattoo to improvised their specialty on ShadowPoison)
Rogue = Dual Dagger+Ymir Talisman
Sorcerer = Staff+ Elemental Book (can switch book to improvised they Magic element separated with elemental imbued on weapon)
Wizard = Wand+Magic Orb
Beastmaster = Spear+Beast Totem( using small totem to improvised skill on specialty beast mode)
Priest = Mace+Odin Bible
Monk = Fist+Jeehon Beads (monk beads improve spirit sphere cast, return glow spirit sphere circle around monk)
Crecentia = Scythe+Chain(can get more aoe and and wide range aoe skill on par with warrior)
Soulmaker = Handle+Doll(all previous class will improve more to be on par with other class got their secondary weapon)

so when all class got their secondary wep, all class weapon might be reduce and share stat with secondary weapon and maybe can put specialty first and secondary weapon have bonus buff or bonus stat or skill specialty when both main wep and secondary weapon equip.


and there u got all class got their own :D this just my raw idea, I've been thinking about this long time ago...

that is an option too, but i can't imagine them thinking of 8 new items and maintaining a balance

Oh god.... its already bad enough trying to get offhand drops from dungeons/boss mobs... can you imagine how bad it would be if they added MORE?  :p_sick:

 

I'm all for making all class have a SINGLE weapon. I don't think it's fair that some classes have to work and spend 2x the amount of others just to reach the same level.

I'm all for making all class have a SINGLE weapon. I don't think it's fair that some classes have to work and spend 2x the amount of others just to reach the same level.

i think they should give other class secondary weapon....now they implement bible, why not give other class fair having hard time to farming 2 type ingredient for main and sub weapon...up!!!! but seem's it dont give a big problem to farm osiris bible :P
