GX Weapon Block / Counter Slash Build Help and Suggestion

Since I never read any renewal guides nor ask for suggestions with my first GX, I think I should ask this time so that there is a lower chance that the build will not go wrong.

 

Anyways, I have a "spare" Assassin (since I almost remade my GX due to somewhat wrong build but also somewhat fixed it through levelling) and I leveled it to 99 and now is a High Novice.

 

I kinda want another build besides RC, so I want this to use WB/CS instead. So I was wondering which other skills to get after getting WB/CS which I am assuming both skills are at max level. Maybe 3 CI, 9 Poison Research for sure. I'll post a link to the skill build later on, since I am also not sure which skill to put for SinX.

 

Regarding stats, I guess STR/AGI/VIT should go around 90 base for HBP bonus, 60-70 base dex. After that, start adding more AGI for more CS damage since the formula is somewhat based on AGI, or start adding luck for CRIT for single target, and extra HIT rate assuming CS can miss. Not sure what would be the ideal stat for AGI for a CS build though.

 

The only weapon I have for this character, excluding my current crappy GX equips if I feel like transferring it, is a +8 2x Hillslion Krishna with FS5 and ASPD 1 Enchants which I will most likely use throughout SinX for sure. Might plan to use some daggers in the future though for CS.

 

This is for pure pvm only and and maybe MVP if ever it will reach 135+ which I doubt.

Why not 5 CI? The cooldown between skills is improved quite a bit with each level.

 

Do you plan to keep katars at GX?

 

Most counter strike builds use dual weapons like triple carded twin edges for maximum single damage in one hit. You'll definitely need need left and right hand mastery for this. You'll need left hand 5 for weapon blocking anyway.

I think CI beyond level 3 only increases damage? If I'm not mistaken, the 0.5s cast delay starts at level 3 and thats about it. Well, thats what I have noticed when leveling CI with my GX (which currently has max level for CI)

 

I have spare element/size cards while sniping shops at Prontera, and a bunch of scalpels so using daggers is definitely an option in the future. But as of now, I'll just stick with katar due to zenny problems.
