Just turned my Assassin to GX, got a few questions

1. CI and RC can miss right? that means I will be needing lots of dex?

2. Do I need some int? will 1 int support massive RC spam?

3. I see people selling Chakram with FS enchants, what's the purpose for FS on it since it seems to me that it's a crit build katar no?

4. What's a good but not expensive weapon for leveling? I have a glorious bloody roar, however it doesn't seem too good for none humaniod creatures.

Thanks

1. Yes... kinda. Check the db for the monsters you wish to kill. If you're close to the 100% hit number, you'll be fine. You can also grab something like Vesper Core 4/Rogue's Treasure if you feel the need for more hit. I don't use CI, mostly RCing and CRS the one straggler that survives, if any.

2. 1 is enough if you have some sort of SP recovery (either via equips like rwh, nid mant, earth deleter armor or consumables or Incubus pet). You can also get SP enchants on the Mora rings if you feel you need more SP.

3. By 150 you'll have enough crit (from stats/equips) so you don't need sharp enchants. FS is pretty common/easy to get. Other options are ASPD+1 or AGI. Suddenly FS doesn't look so bad. ._.

4. A Wild Beast Claw with FS enchants? Not a big fan of Durga, tho that's also an option. No idea what you consider expensive, a number would help here more than a general statement "good but not expensive". Tho in your place I'd use the roar if it's +9, 193 aspd is nice.

Depends on what you want. You want some hp leech? Then hunter fly. More RC damage? Zipper Bear, Hilslion, Andre if you're on a budget. More crit damage? Paper, Mobster or Aunoe.

Note that Zipper Bear and Paper will drain 1 SP per attack unless you're using the whole card set. Let's say you went with a Zipper Bear. You find a nice group of 6 mobs. You RC them. You lose 5 sp for one spin of RC + 6 SP (every hit of RC counts as one attack), so in total for one RC you'd use 11 SP on a group of 6 mobs.

Hi Qani.

CI and RC can miss. 50 dex is sufficent for all your leveling up to 150, but 75 may benefit you if you want some extra hits against those Angra Mantis.

1 INT is the standard for most GXes. If you are having INT troubles, consider investing in a rideword hat. +0 is good with a few blue potions here and there, but +9 will keep you full all the time provided you don't waste your SP using CI and CRS.

Chakram FS? Well, FS gives attack. All crit builds have about 50 CRIT from other sources anyway.

Your GBR will be more than sufficient for all your needs. When mobing, you should choose the highest power weapon you can get and buff it with EDP/converters rather than getting specific weapons for everything. I know lots of GXes talk about attack cards and hunger fly, but those are really sub-par when you to the high-TI soloing levels.

1. CI and RC can miss right? that means I will be needing lots of dex?

Yes, they both miss. I have 60 Base Dex and 60 Base Luck (Luck has hit bonus too, I think) and I still miss on mobs even lower leveled mobs like Raydric. Not all the time though.

2. Do I need some int? will 1 int support massive RC spam?

No need to pump Int, unless you have 2 stat points left when you reach level 150 :heh:

I use a +4 RWH with Willow card, and pair it with +4 Nidhogg Garb for my SP problems, barely runs out of SP, and pairing both equips with an Earth Deleter armor, I'm not running out of SP at all. Specially if you're mobbing alot of mobs for RC.

3. I see people selling Chakram with FS enchants, what's the purpose for FS on it since it seems to me that it's a crit build katar no?

I think some people like to have FS enchants (instead of Sharp maybe?) on their Chakram for more damage. +9 Sapha Set with Crit Enchants gives tremendous amount of Crit, even if the set is not complete (no rings and garment for example). RT gives 10 Crit too which is huge.

...or maybe they are just lazy to switch gears and use the same weapon for RC. I hope not!

4. What's a good but not expensive weapon for leveling? I have a glorious bloody roar, however it doesn't seem too good for none humaniod creatures.

Agree with others with an upgraded Wild Beast Claw. Chakram if you have alot of zenny to spend, specially with Aunoe card's price is low now due to mid TI, if you're going to crit.

Thanks

You're welcome.

Hey. Could you tell me the average price for a roar +9?

The kvm one is from.. well, kvm. You get it with 2000 kvm badges. It's account bound so you can't sell it. Your other assassins will get to use it if you have more than one on the same account. :)

The regular bloody roar is kinda bad imo.

Oh, I see. How much does it usually costs to refine a weapon to +9?

That will depend entirely on the RNG gods. Sometimes things use less than 10 ores to get to +9 and sometimes you have something like my ygg crown which took me more than 150 to get back to +9... No one can tell for certain but I usually go by one box of enriched 50 will get me one +9. Your mileage may wary.

To clarify something... There are two different weapons:

Glorious Bloody Roar (the one that's good vs demihumans at +9 - this is the one from KVM)

Bloody Roar (not a very good weapon).

Oh, I see. How much does it usually costs to refine a weapon to +9?
