Hey guys.. I'm new to the gen scenario, still a young alchemist but looking foward changing into a cool gen asap.. so I have a question: what should I go for first if my main interest is MVP? Any thoughts?

And what build should I choose for better leveling?

Erdes are cheap to get and very versatile carded with archer skeleton. Orlean's gown gives you the unstoppable cast that you'll need (card it with porcellio if you can afford it).

BSB + shackles is a decent way to improve damage. I like to use fricco's shoes when I have to pot on top of aid potion (for efficiency).

Eden swords pre-third-job. By the time you hit gen, try to scare up enough to get a 3x AS RTE - this is a weapon you will use constantly in PVM and MVP as gen, and it will never get old - and as you get rich, you can upgrade it further, and when we get the enchant update for it, you can put a malangdo enchant on it too.

You'll need either a phen or orleans.

Try to pick up cheap -30% race reduction shields (for now, don't worry what they're in - later on, switch out the important ones with valk shields and such).

Eden shoes or vidar boots or similar until you can get variant shoes.

You'll want a garment that gives % reduction from neutral - Vali mant, the Eden garment, or a cheap immune garment from the market (if you can find any - these might be around now that decarding is out for a while)
