Hi there fellow ro players,just came back and im trying to level my highest character which is an agi/spear paladin,would appreciate some input on my stats so far and how should i continue to allocate them,aswell i could use some advice gear wise,taking into consideration im dead poor is my gear ok for leveling,any way to improve it with limited funds?

gear is fine, just don't sell your pumpkin hat they are rare now and its a good source of healing with pumpkins when you can get alarm mask.

 

raise dex to hit consistently on the thngs you level at, agi to 190aspd with spear quicken or close to that get crit to 50%, crescent scyth will be your weapon untill 99, i use to 99 one with it easily. after you got luk dex agi done then put the rest in str.

 

when you rebirth don't go agi again because it will suck, change into vit str build instead because you will be leveling with overbrand when you change to rg go check out ob builds for more detail.

 

there are no more free stat resets so if you screw up your rebirth stats... you are screwed.

If you look he is already a trans. But anyway your stats is fine for now my 99 RG is a agi/spear and he is doing fine. Got base agi to 90 and base dex at 70 and rest into str. Gonna finally start pumping for vit from now on.

Cool,will do thanks for the info,and on another note since i have two witchs pumpkin hats,one the +5 im wearing and another one i have in storage,should i sell the one im not using and invest those zenny in new gear? Ive seen those hats go for a hefty sum in ragial,not sure what gear to get thou,any advice?

They are more valuable than 99m, so you can't really use ragial to get their actual value.

 

If i'm not wrong people are selling them for over 150m.

 

Probably from 150 to 200m.

At 99 pala my stats where:

Str:90
Agi:30
Dex:60
Int:40
Vit:55
Luck:28

As a pala i leveled quickly using holycross, @95 i finished 91-99 quests at eden and used bmx3 till i reached 99 since o was too excited.
Now im an rg and pumping my vit till 100 or something but probably gonna reset @150 since i wanna tone down my int to minimum.

Quick question,i remember back in the ol' days that i leveled my Sader using grand cross by having a ton of int,is that still viable as a leveling build?

Remember having a lot of fun with that aoe skill

GC have been nerf to hell don't even bother. The only viable leveling skill is Holy Cross if it hasn't change and is aspd base I think? The other one is agi build with spear quicken. Then you need to raise vit when turn to RG and will have to use Over Brand.

 

Holy Cross is the fastest if you have the zeny. Just goto dark priest and spam it.

If you can 1-_- dark priest then go dp. But i leveled using the eden quests+spotlight and solider in turtle island drops honey and freezer drops royal jelly that can replenish my sp

No, Grand Cross is actually still really good, especially on monsters weak against holy. The people who tell you otherwise haven't tested it extensively. You don't even need high int with it too and low int was decent damage already for me.
