Hi everyone,

I would like to ask about HSCR capability for MVPing. At first glance I love Mech skills but I heard so many negative feedback about party heal bug and Mado suit problem after dead :ani_swt:  It's so discourage me to play this class. So if HSCR can do MVPs this can be very interesting for me to play Mech!!

HSCR is really good for MVPing. You can easily do 15k+ damage with each hit, and you can spam it at your ASPD. Think of it as similar to an RG's Vanishing Point, except melee and not ranged.

However, to level up to 150 you really need to use the Mado, at least for level ~120 and up. Otherwise you'd just be a burden to your party because of your low damage, or you'd be having a really hard time soloing. Mado really is mandatory for every Mech for the leveling phase at least.

i think its hit based, so, you will need to take a break when they go agi up.Also you will need quite some dex too, as merchant classes dont have any skills that boost hit, like how improve concentration, falcon eyes or spear dynamo do.

Hmm, I'm gonna do Nidd this week on my Mech, I'll record and post here. I think I recorded the ET run as well, I'll check, if so I'll upload by tomorrow. The damage is great. Agi Up and tanking MvP+Mob is not. Is rough. Some MvP's you won't touch with Agi Up, at all and well, they hurt a lot when you're tanking it with the mob. Is really, really fun though. On lower MvP's, like Mistress, what I did was finish her on Cart Revolution, since it never miss, otherwise, you better go away for a while, waiting for the Agi Up to go away. Axe Mastery gives +30 hit, but you'll still need a lot of dex... I'm still low level, only 121, so I can't help you much on that one, but I guarantee you, is fun.

Thank you very much for all of your suggestions :thx:

May I ask one more question? Am I understand correctly that when I'm in mado suit I cannot perform some mastersmith skills?

:p_sad:  This is quite a bad news. Thank you for pointing this out.

May I ask you that compared to acid bomb, is it cheaper or more expensive?

That is correct. You cannot even use HSCR in mado. Actually I believe you can't actively use any of the Blacksmith / Merchant skills. However it is interesting to note you can actually use Axe Tornado within the Mado since it's a Mech skill.

You can easily fit in Arm Cannon into even a non-mado Mechanic build though, so that is why I refer to the Mado as a "leveling tool". Many of the other Mech skills aren't that great like the FAWs anyway. In fact, the only really good non-mado skill in PVM / MVP is HSCR, which is a Mastersmith skill so you aren't wasting any Mechanic points with that anyway. PVP builds with Power Swing etc. are another story and would be a topic of its own. Many people, if not all people, reset their builds at 150/50 for a full optimized PVP build that might not even have an AOE skill (leveling NEEDS an aoe skill) so that is out of the scope of this current topic.

Also, one thing you can do in many instances is use the Mado / Arm Cannon for AOEing and killing the regular monsters. Once you reach the boss, you can dismount the Mado and kill the boss with HSCR.
