dinoprince, your computer is, for some strange reason, downloading an outdated version of the file
patch2.txt, which contains a list of all the available updates. (The latest version of the file ends with the line "2515 2014-04-16data_gm_r2.gpf".) This is the cause of both your current and previous problem.
Try the following in order:
- Disable Internet Explorer's "work offline" mode if it's enabled. (The updater uses Internet Explorer to download updates.)
- If you're using a HTTP proxy, then disable it. (You can do this from the Internet Options Control Panel applet.)
- Disable any software that could interfere with HTTP connections.
seivi, try the following:
Warning: Don't follow these instructions if you last updated your client before 2014/3/12 because doing so will cause your client to skip installing one or more updates.
- Close any and all open clients.
- Download this file.
- Navigate to the IRO client installation folder in File Explorer/Windows Explorer.
- Replace the file patch.inf with the version you downloaded in step 2.
- Open the Renewal client.
