Does Card Refinement remove bind-on-equip character binding? Just like how Gear Refining used to remove equipment binding? It's just a suspicion of mine and I have no hard evidence, but the +1's I see are often Normal+ cards. Of course, Normal+ would get greater benefits from refining process so it would make sense to only refine those in that regard. Still, I'm just curious if it can be confirmed because if so, it would be an abusable bug should the rates be improved.

You can only refine Normal+ and up

Yep, explained now where and like Quetz said it needs fixing. It is supposedly possible to get a +10 card, however every time it fails it goes back to regular normal +. The refinement rates diminish each + you get also. I for the first time saw a +2 card on the AH the ohter day, my jaw just about hit the floor.

The game survivability use a success rate that it's worst than the disassemble rate, but really i pkay since july and i didn't know cards can be refined up to 10 and i quite never use that system due to the fact that: card album is a kafra temporaney item, there are no instruction oh how card fusion and refibing works, the normal fusion rate is 50% and you lost all the 5 cards if you fail same if you refine. .. really i thought the max refining was normal+ 0-0
Normal + was the max pre-AoV but they introduced the Card Enhancement stone which adds +1 and higher to the stones.
Now when combining cards in a normal fusion to create a normal + or a rare card, you need Card Designated Synthesis stones, this protects the card you choose to try and fuse. Now for card refinement you need Card Coating Paper to protect the cards, it also slightly improves the fusion success rate but it still plummets after +1 to +2.

Send in a bug report I had something similar happen, but it was 50% success rate and I used 13 card coatings. All of them failed, that is not a 50% chance of success, they gave me 5 card coating papers back as compensation, even though they said it was working fine, when it's clearly broken like the rest of the RNG things.
